- Landonnichol733Community MemberLooks like an interactive web page. Very different, which means I'm still unsure of its use. Great content and I like how you tied it back into some self-directed learning opportunities. How does this platform track performance? I've not had time to play with it yet. Nice job!
- TrinaRimmerFormer StaffHi Landon. Yes, this course was created in Rise which is a fully web-based authoring tool for creating responsive e-learning. Rise was built entirely around mobile so what you're seeing is output that's been totally mobile optimized. If you'd like to learn more about how Rise works, you may want to check out this short video from Tom Kuhlmann: https://community.articulate.com/series/getting-started-with-rise
- samanthasmithCommunity Membergreat job!
- LesleyCondonCommunity MemberFantastic! Delivers the exact amount of detail you need to know and looks brilliant!
- PetreBicaCommunity MemberGreat resource. Simple and good looking.
- DougBrownCommunity MemberAnother great example of Rise, the possibilities of simple to the point learning seem endless. Well Done!
- TrinaRimmerFormer StaffThanks, Doug. And glad to see that you're as excited about Rise as we are!
- SamLincolnCommunity MemberGreat example Trina. It works fine on my desktop but I couldn't progress past "How Hurricanes Are Formed" on my Samsung phone (Android v 4.4.2) - the diagram interaction did not show and scrolling down kept taking me back to the top of that section. Obviously a bug ... do you want me to report this elsewhere or will you do that?
- JustinStaffHi, Sam.
I haven't been able to reproduce this problem on my device, but I've submitted a Support Case on your behalf so that we can take a look at the problem and work with you one-on-one. Thanks for reporting it!
- SunilAdhikari-2Community MemberLooks great! Well done.
- MelissaAlbinCommunity MemberLooks terrific!
- baileybowyerCommunity MemberI love this and if you have a Clicker McClickson taking the course it keeps them focused as it's not just a page of text and then clicking Next to get to the next page. There are lots of different ways to explore all of the information. Great example!!
- TrinaRimmerFormer StaffI may have to steal "Clicker McClickson" from you, Bailey. That made me laugh out loud! Thanks for taking the time to check out my Rise example...and give me a chuckle.
- baileybowyerCommunity MemberLOL, you gotta love that Clicker McClickson :D
- DorothyPersic-7Community MemberThanks Trina, what a great use of Rise; very engaging!
