This makes it easy to use and to version control particularly for complex projects when things get hectic and there are multiple stakeholders in various locations. Good Work!

But you make the all too common mistake. You saved it as a document.

What you have created is a template, for reuse. You don't want the template changed. So instead of saving it as a DOCX, it would be better if you saved it as a DOTX. That way the template is not accidentally changed.
