This polished course uses the continue block to make sure learners read through all lesson information before moving on.

Meghan - this is such a great layout and modern design. Can you provide some guidance around how you track completion status with the bar on the left side. I will look into that continue block as well since I have never used that feature. If you can share a few pages from this to guide me on how you set this up that would be awesome.

Meghan, this course is really impressive. I love the completion track and those types of courses are often requested. Would you be able to share with me as well please? Thank you so much!!

  • Hi all!
Thank you so much for the compliments and I apologize for the delay in my response.
    A few answers below:
    1. I created the Gif rotating image using this free site: https://imgflip.com/gif-maker

    2. For the Continue block - Add the block type Divider and select the Continue option. Then hover in the upper left corner of the Continue block and click Edit. Click the dropdown option for Completion Type and select either Complete Block Directly Above or Complete All Blocks Above.
If your continue button is at the bottom of a long list of blocks, I'd select Complete All Blocks Above.
If it is more of a compliance course with multiple interactions you can always add multiple continue blocks and select Complete Block Directly Above to ensure the learner moves in a more linear fashion and a slower pace.

    3. The Completion Tracker that moves along the top of the course is an automatic function within Rise (which I absolutely love!). After you add an Interactive Process or Timeline block and select Preview in the upper right corner, you will see that the tracker appears as you progress through the block.

    4. I apologize that I am not able to share the course due to privacy concerns with my employer.
BUT I did create this course in a very simple manner and you can follow the same patterns by adding blocks one after another in the same fashion I did if you're interested.

Thank you all! Please let me know if you have any other questions I can help with.

Thanks Meghan. I'm also curious about the Collaborating for Value graphic that changes colors.

    Hi Meghan,

This course is really well done. How did you get the fullscreen button inserted in the video?

    Thanks!
