Rise 360: Space Travel–Themed Interactive Infographic

I’ve been wanting to create an interactive infographic for awhile, but wasn’t sure where to start. Then it came to me: what if I used Rise 360 and integrated some Storyline blocks? And that’s how this space travel-themed example was born.

The gifs, labeled graphics, and Storyline interactions really make this infographic come to life.

I hope this example inspires you to create your own interactive infographics with Rise 360 and Storyline!

    2 questions:
    1) Were the majority of the interactive blocks made in storyline? Every time i embed a storyline block, there's a gray background and a lot of padding that make it hard to look seamless.
    2) How do you create a launch page that doesn't show the lesson titles?

      Hi Ed!
      Here are my answers to your questions:
      1. The drag & drop, the sliders, and the last interaction were the only ones created in Storyline. To make the Storyline blocks as seamless as possible, I chose the light modern player for the blocks with a white background and the dark modern player for the blocks with a dark background.
      2. To get a launch page without the lesson titles I turned off the sidebar in the course settings.

    Allison, I love this! I'm totally ready for a career change to become a spaceship attendant :). I was into every part of this course. The visuals, interactions, and fun content were out of this world! :)

      I was at the Articulate Roadshow in St. Louis and Tom suggested ScreentoGif as his gif maker of choice. I haven't been able to use it (I can't download anything at work!), but if Tom says it works, I'm going to agree! :)

        These were made in After Effects, but stay tuned for a tutorial on making Gifs in Storyline! :)

    This was a fantastic example! Thank you for sharing. I struggled to see which sections were storyline vs. rise because of all the animated gifs. Excellent work!

    Amazing example that really elevates Rise as a publishing platform. The freelancing community has been getting some pushback from our clients stating that Rise courses are too boring. This should change minds.

    This example is amazing! I'm VERY new to Articulate and as a Technical Trainer, this has just opened up my mind to so many opportunities to expand and improve the product training I need to produce!

    Lovely example.

    Slider did not work in Chrome but I will try IE instead. Spent the morning recreating your animated gifs using PowerPoint and http://gifmaker.me/

    Guessing Tumult Hype might have been easier to use but I already had my Windows laptop open and not my Mac. What did you use to make them? Or are they downloadable somewhere?

      The sliders aren't working in Chrome for you? I'm using Chrome on my end and they're working...so that's really strange. What version of Chrome are you using?

      I did not make the gifs, our motion designer did so I'll let her jump in here and explain how she does it. :)

        I'm anxious to find out how you made the GIFS, or how your motion designer did. I'm not a motion designer but hoping to find out how I too can do this.
