- JenniferFeliciaCommunity MemberAwesome example of Rise! Thank you for sharing!!
- DougBrownCommunity MemberHi Tom, love the creative use of Rise.
Just wondering how you made the image links in section 11.
I have been unable to create an image link with Rise and noticed that you appear to have created this one as a link from the rover image
"http://marsed.asu.edu/"
Can you please share how this is done
Regards, Doug- I used the URL block and inserted a URL. Rise pulls in the metadata and created the linked image.
- leahcarrubbaCommunity Memberbrilliant interaction
- DanielBrigham-bCommunity MemberTom: Not sure if this is possible, but maybe you could share so we could look under the hood? That'd be cool. Then again, a lot of things would be cool that can never happen.
- PhilMackrell-d6Community MemberYeah this is awesome and a great way to incorporate all elements of design.
- chencongCommunity Member谢谢你的分享
- SaraKellyMediacCommunity Memberthis is great, lots of good ideas and inspiration

First question I did was a true and false question. It asked:
Mars is the third planet from the sun.
True or False
I answered false and the feedback said "Not quite Mars is the fourth planet from the sun."
I retook this question and answered true to which the feedback said "Correct. Mars is the fourth planet from the sun."
It doesn't matter how responsive a module is or how the interactions are, if the information it contains is clearly unreliable, then all the time spent on design is wasted because learners won't trust it.
(sorry can't seem to attach a pic)
Curiosity rover interactive video and other videos are really nice, but seems to have some padding issues. Mind you I'm using inspector to view it on various screen sizes in landscape mode so that could be part of the issue.
Nice though.- KyleMain-25d18aCommunity MemberSimon,
I think the point of this Example in the "example" section of this site, is partly to show technical examples that hopefully inspire you on your own project. This was not put up here to have the community train about mars. - On the quiz question, I need to fix that. Of course, I'll add the disclaimer that this material shouldn't be used to qualify for NASA or to pass basic astronomy quizzes. :)
It is just a demo to show some things you can do with Rise so I'm not going to tweak much more. For those who want to play around with the padding, one can do that in the settings or in the margins when creating the Storyline content (as with the 3D rover).- SimonHall-8cfeaCommunity MemberYes, and like Kyle pointed out this is clearly an example. I guess I was being a bit pedantic. I get caught up on stuff like that and I find it distracts me from the things I should be focusing on - I need to learn to let it go. It's an awesome module. Very cool.
- A-Brandashea742Community MemberAwesome! How did you get the orange balls for pop out of the large blue ball?
- I didn't create those, they were assets on the NASA site.
- KyleMain-25d18aCommunity MemberHi Tom,
Is there a way we could contact you about this cool project? I see lots of questions and I'm sure you are super busy. You should host a webinar on your blog site once in a while that could include a Q&A :) * I meant could, not "should".- I'll do a blog post/tutorial so feel free to send questions to me tom at articulate dot com.
Most of the assets were on the NASA site so I didn't create them. The only thing that I created was the Storyline block and the rover interaction.
- VINICIUSALVARESCommunity MemberTom,
All right? I found it incredible the way we performed Curiosity Rover. If possible share how did you do it? I wanted to do something of the genres in my projects. Was that on Storyline?- I'll do a blog post tutorial.
- CassandraLux-dfCommunity MemberIs the blog post tutorial available yet? Thanks!! Looks great.
