- DianneHopeCommunity MemberI really like this branching scenario Nicole. In particular, having 3 options to choose from is perfect - any more and it may have been too confusing.
As I was progressing through the scenario, I actually learnt a lot from the answers to the questions. The one question I'm never sure how to answer is the one about my weaknesses. I chose the wrong answer - and the explanation helped me to understand why this is not the best answer. It also gave me insight into how I could be answering this question in the future.
For such a short and simple scenario, I think this is quite powerful at meeting the objective it sets out to meet.
Thank you!- NicoleLegault1Community MemberThank you for your great feedback, Dianne. I really appreciate it.
I also learned a lot about interviewing while I was putting this together, I used Google to research top interview questions and how to best answer them (and also found great examples of how NOT to answer them, which helped me too). Stay tuned, I'll be writing a blog post soon about how I created it and lessons learned along the way. :)
- kristofferkoernCommunity MemberI could'nt see it because flash isn't used anymore.
- TheresaBentCommunity MemberGreat branching scenario. Is there a possibility to get these source files to see how everything works under the hood??
- NicoleLegault1Community MemberWorking on it now... Coming soon!
- JoeHarvey-c691dCommunity MemberReally like this, from the crisp clean design as well as the actual learning. Great work as always, love checking out your posts for inspiration.
- AndreaBlakel167Community MemberA really simple but engaging scenario. I'm building a branching scenario at the moment and will use your example for inspiration. Thank you

- samtsiuCommunity MemberGreat job, Nicole.
Looking forward to your blog post.- NicoleLegault1Community MemberThank you Sam! Much appreciated! I did write a blog post about how I built this scenario, which is located here: http://bit.ly/1zFw1Ss
And I'm currently working on adding the scenario template to our Downloads and giving a more in-depth look at how I built the progress meter.
Stay tuned!- SheriSouth2Community MemberHi, Nicole! Your example is briilliant. I'm going to use your example to build a scenario-based interaction to show how choices, in a virtual 'project' environment have an impact on meeting the deliverable due date (or not making it at all). Your progress meter is great! How's work coming on the source file downloads?
- ShawnStilesCommunity MemberI really liked how you personalized the scenario by having users enter their name. Making it personal engages the audience. This framework can be used in a number of ways. I have an upcoming project that this format would be great for. I plan on referring back to this frequently while I build it. Thank you for sharing.
- KeshaDawsonCommunity MemberJust starting out with e-learning. Big ideas...a little intimidated by the vast pool of possibilities. This post came right on time. Thanks for the simple, yet effective example of branching. And...I got the job!!
- AmyStewartCommunity MemberThank you for sharing this excellent example! I will plan to use it for inspiration on my next project.
- BenRodriguezCommunity MemberI got the job!
