Do you need your learners to complete a self-assessment? Why not use the subject matter to guide the design and experience? This assessment includes an animated flame character that changes sizes based on the learner’s responses. And by using the power of variables, states, and JavaScript, this example is a surefire way to motivate learners to answer all the questions.

You fascinated me with how you brought in and controlled the animation. I am now really interested in using Rive. I read that Duolingo uses Rive animations to make it so their characters lip-sync!

Thank you Will! Yes they do! As well as other things. :D
  • Love it! Nice work. I especially love the detail with the shadow below the character.

Great share Chris, I love the animations! It is super neat to see how Storyline, when incorporated with animations produced by other tools can really shine.
