  • This is great! Thank you. Inspires me to do more. But for now, I'm borrowing from the master. :)
  • I love this packet but I'm having one problem with the Jeopardy game that I cannot get around. As is, if the learner does not pass the game and takes it again, the instruction slide shows each time. I really want it to only display once but for some reason my variable trigger to hide the layer when the count is greater than zero is not working. A slide trigger on the layer also has no effect. Does anyone have any ideas?
  • Maria Ginsbourg,

This work is so smooth and very good. I firstly congratulate you on this efficient work.
    I have a doubt @0.10 Time code,
There is an animation bar chart, but when I am using flying animation, there Its comes from the Bottom of the storyline, not from the bottom of the object. Can you explain? How to fix this Problem?

If I understand your query, the answer is that the bar objects are actually flying in from the very bottom of the window, but there is a WHITE RECTANGLE object covering the bottom part of the screen - from the very bottom of the screen to the bottom of the graph area.

While the bar objects are flying in this bottom part of the screen, they are BEHIND this 'mask' object so you can't see them.

Like many clever effects you'll see in Storyline projects, it's all 'smoke and mirrors'.

Another way a similar effect could be achieved is to have a SCROLLING PANEL about the same size as the chart area with the animated bars INSIDE that. Any animation that happens is relative to the boundary of the scrolling panel rather than the entire screen. So, when the bars fly in, they fly in from the bottom of the scrolling panel, not the screen. It's a bit more complicated, but there's always more than one way to do anything!
  • Hi Cindy, I wonder if this workaround could help? Create a new slide that appears before the Jeopardy game, and move the instructions layer to that slide.
  • Hi Maria. I have one more question on this template. I've never used the "Restart Course" action and I'm wondering why/when that's a better choice than just jumping back to the base slide. I've tried making that change and when I do, none of the objects on the game board display when we return to that slide.
I don't see the trigger that is causing that to happen. Am I missing something? Thanks!
