In this example, we'll explore onboarding at a fictional company. Employees need to understand core values. We'll illustrate Push and Pull methods.
Push: A simple slide lists values. It's clear but lacks engagement.
Pull: Branching scenarios immerse employees in real-life situations, where they make decisions based on values. This hands-on approach boosts understanding and retention.

- Thank you so much for sharing your project, I’m really impressed by how interactive the learning was. I’m currently working on a project for a product launch, and the content can be quite dry. I was reviewing the forums for some inspiration and came across this thread about Push vs. Pull E- Learning. The prior product launches my team has conducted were mostly Push, your example gives me some ideas of what I can do to make it more interactive (a Pull e-learning)!
I do have a few questions for you, is there a way to replay the initial video or scenario once users reach the question-and-answer page?
Also, it looks like may have used Vyond for the video but how did you insert the questions? Was it something that you built in Storyline or was there another program you used?
Thank you for your feedback, Mary! I'm glad you found the project interactive. To address your questions, yes, we can incorporate a playbar or a menu page for the values videos to allow learners to revisit them. I created the videos using Vyond and integrated them into Articulate Storyline. After the videos, I added questions and choices directly within Storyline, followed by correct and incorrect slide videos based on the choices.
