Hello everyone. I've made one where the learner sets a blur preference at the beginning of the module, and through the use of variables, their choice remains throughout, as the state of the background picture will change automatically.
I had to manually blur my images with Photoshop and then put them back in, but you could do the same with colour tints, or a certain font colour or size, etc. all within the app.

- Yvonne3 years agoCommunity MemberThis is a great concept to share and demonstrate. I appreciate how accessibility is also an object of the user's choice, which is a great way to consider what accessibility really means - that it is user experience dependent and should be determined by the user's needs to access the information and experience.
I did find that once I present my preference on the initial smaller photo, once seeing it large screen with text made my preference change. I think it would be helpful to have a setting per page, because my perception of the text changed based on the complexities of the background images. Something to consider; and something I hope to try in the future to meet accessibility needs. Thank you.- MaxTextor-3176f3 years agoCommunity MemberThanks Yvonne, re: your second comment, that did cross my mind after I submitted it actually, good call out. I think it would be fairly straight forward to add a box at the top where clicking a button changes the variable, the same rules should apply.
