I really like using images to convey ideas and in this activity wanted to "tone down" the image message by blurring so the text could take over. This activity is part of a larger Rise course for new employees about their obligations as a government healthcare worker.

Wow, Helen this is a high impact lesson. The use of color vs black and white creates the emotional response to the horror of these adult behaviors towards those who are more vulnerable. The blurring causes us to really focus on the 'victims' of these attrocities. The selection of images whas 'spot on'.
