Here's my submission. It's actually from last week's challenge but I didn't get a chance to finish it. So here it is. I would love your feedback - the good, the bad and the ugly. :-)

- JodiSansone5 years agoCommunity MemberHi Rema, There are so many COVID stat graphics around these days--I really liked the way your table populated with the multiple layers of information. The state logo graphics are nice too--I like the cutouts. Thanks for posting it.
- RemaMerrick-aa05 years agoCommunity MemberThanks Jodi. I know - I love that there are so many COVID graphics. I had no idea there were so many until I did this interaction. You're welcome.
- Ron_Katz5 years agoCommunity MemberRema, nice work. Very good visually. It is hard when you are dealing with so many layers and variables to always get everything to match up. I noticed a few of the links didn't produce the desired results. For example when I clicked on the Texas population it showed the correct info, but then stated something about Pennsylvania and New York's cases link showed something about George. These are minor details that you will want to clean up when you start doing more commercial work. (I imagine).
- RemaMerrick-aa05 years agoCommunity MemberThanks Ron. Nice catch. I updated the layers so that they match.
- PaolaRattu-ea2f5 years agoCommunity MemberHi Rema, I like the idea of an interactive table! :)
I personally find it a little tiring to go back and forth between the main table and the additional information. To improve it, you could try to have this information displayed in the main layer itself after click (ex.: in a popup), so that the user can move on and click another cell as soon as they've finished reading the information.- RemaMerrick-aa05 years agoCommunity MemberHi Paolo - Thanks for for the feedback. You're right - I can definitely see how it can get old really quickly to have to go back and forth. A small pop-up would work great. I'll implement that in my next iteration of the interaction.
- LindsayGarcia-b5 years agoCommunity MemberHi there, Rema. =)
I agree with Paola. Using hotspots with information or a dial that would expose information as it's moved on the same page would be more engaging and less tiring for the user. The color scheme is fun, but a bit bright. Perhaps some shading applied to the yellow boxes would help? I do love how once the user returns to the main page, the data takes the place of the images. Great job and thanks for sharing! - VeronicaBudnika5 years agoSuper HeroThat's great Rema!
