Hello!
I've tinkered with Javascript-enabled scrolling panels in the past and have refined the code again for this challenge. Triggering events based on the position of the scrolling panel can add interactivity while chunking content.
This week the robotic HR consultant, Jobsworth, is back from ELHC #413 to welcome you to your first day at Lucifer Industries.

There's a download in there too - hidden in a scrolling panel 😀

- Jonathan_Hill2 years agoSuper HeroCoincidentally, all of the background images are created in Dall•E and ChatGPT helped me refine the Javascript. Can I submit the same demo next week, too? 😄
- TracyCarroll2 years agoCommunity MemberHmm…does that question mean you already know what next week’s challenge is?!
- Jonathan_Hill2 years agoSuper HeroYep, check out the final section of David's write-up, above. It's announced there.

- ThierryEMMANUEL2 years agoCommunity MemberAnother good example to study carefully, Jonathan. Thanks for sharing.
- CydWalker_mwhc2 years agoCommunity MemberI don't think I'd stay long at Lucifer... Jobsworth is cool though.
- BrianCho-4b18e22 years agoCommunity MemberWow, great work Jonathan! I really liked the concept of using an elevator integrated with a scroll. The art direction is also really cool, with the good use of generative AI images and voice. There is a nice sense of expectation..what's waiting for me on each floor :D
- JackieMatuza2 years agoCommunity MemberI love having the scroll as an interactive element for the user, very nice work!
- LisaListama-b252 years agoCommunity MemberHey Jonathan. Question - are scrolling panels accessible? Love your work.
- Jonathan_Hill2 years agoSuper HeroHi Lisa, yes, they are! Like most interactive objects in Storyline, you can access scrolling panels using the Tab key and then use the up and down keys or Page Up and Down keys to move it.
