Very nice! Also good to know that the SL blocks with javascript can import into Rise. That's something I hadn't yet tried to do, so thanks for the great idea.

Thanks, Lacey. I was happy to see javascript work as a block in Rise, too.
- OwenHolt4 years agoSuper HeroI keep pestering David that they really need a JavaScript block for Rise... LOL
My very first Storyline block is one I use in all of my courses and it depends entirely on JavaScript.
One of our Employee Health and Safety initiatives results in a daily safety message that corresponds with the date. These messages are repeated by participants at the start of every meeting. If the date ends in a 1, you read the 1st message, if it ends in a 2, you read the 2nd, etc. I wrote a piece of JavaScript that pulls the current date, looks to see if it is 2 digits and uses the number or last number to determine the appropriate message to display. Now all of my CBTs (Rise and SL) follow the same practice as our classroom courses.- JenniferEdgerto4 years agoCommunity MemberI'd love to see that in action, Owen.
- OwenHolt4 years agoSuper HeroModified from our safety messages to a daily (date driven) affirmation included with some content about affirmations. Also a suitable submission for this challenge.
The Storyline block executes JavaScript to display one of 10 different affirmations each corresponding to the last digit of today's date.
