Instead of punctuation and grammar, I chose commonly misused words. Some of these are my personal pet peeves that you will recognize, but others were a surprise to me.

- CalvinLo10 years agoCommunity Memberwow.. this is an eye opener. 8/15 :(
thanks Linda! good job especially on picking those character states.- LindaLorenzetti10 years agoSuper HeroThanks Calvin, so far the range seems to be 8 - 11 correct answers
- VeronicaBudnika10 years agoSuper HeroI loved this, and the characters are great, especially the headless lady! I ___________ laughed my head off ;)
I got 12- LindaLorenzetti10 years agoSuper Hero12 Veronica, that's impressive : )
- VeronicaBudnika10 years agoSuper HeroThanks Linda! Like you, many of these are my pet peeves, but I was surprised by a couple of them :)
- jeff10 years agoCommunity MemberWow, you've got an impressive database of e-learning characters Linda. I sucked at this game and got 7/15...
- LindaLorenzetti10 years agoSuper HeroThe problem with that database is that there aren't many poses for a lot of characters and that most of the poses are unusable. 7/15 is pretty good considering this isn't your first language. I know a few native speakers who scored 8.
- DavidCharney110 years agoCommunity MemberGreat job! Loved the characters and how empty the background was. It really locked in my focus.
- LindaLorenzetti10 years agoSuper HeroThanks David
- CeciliaBernal10 years agoCommunity MemberLinda, I love it! I got a 8 and laughed a lot!
- LindaLorenzetti10 years agoSuper HeroCecilia, I’m glad that it bemused you, I mean amused you. I’m just happy that I found a use for one of Atsumi’s awkward poses!
- JoeWaddington110 years agoCommunity MemberVery nice! Like Jeff, i was impressed with the collection of characters. Where did you get them all?
- LindaLorenzetti10 years agoSuper HeroI got it a few years ago from Digital Juice, it's called PhotoKnockouts. I don't think you can get them anymore.
- JoeWaddington110 years agoCommunity MemberHow have I never seen the Digital Site before... it looks like there's so many cool things on it. How's their library?
- AshiTandon10 years agoCommunity Member8 on 15...
Thanks Linda, This is really enlightening... On my way to Coursera now :D- LindaLorenzetti10 years agoSuper Hero8 out of 10 is perfectly acceptable Ashi. No need to go to Coursera :)
- AlexanderSalas10 years agoCommunity MemberHi Linda, this is amazing work as you always do! I scored 11 out of 15, but for the sake of test design it should have been 13 out of 15 LOL
I share your obsession with the proper use of words. For example, in Fewer vs. Less it can be argued that because of the inclusion of a limit figurei.e. ten items, "less" would be acceptable.

There are others but, that's a separate thread ; )- LindaLorenzetti10 years agoSuper HeroThere's no shame in 11 out of 15 Alexander. The Oxford dictionary agrees with my definition http://www.oxforddictionaries.com/words/less-or-fewer Different sources give different rules, and some of the rules change over time. For example, the word terrific used to mean causing terror. The point is that most people who believe that they are using correct English, may be surprised to learn that what they thought was right, isn't.
- AlexanderSalas10 years agoCommunity MemberThat's great Linda, like I wrote this is only important from a testing design perspective. I understand we are in "sample" mode. Thnx!
- AmandaAllen-6eb10 years agoCommunity MemberRegardless vs irregardless is my biggest peeve. I once listened to a minister use irregardless at least 20 times during a sermon. It was so annoying. And now I can't remember my score after reading all the comments, but I think it was 9/15.
Also, if anyone wants a nice library with lots of poses, I use elearningart.com.- LindaLorenzetti10 years agoSuper HeroIrregardless and literally and like (used for every second word) are my biggest peeves and it seems to be pervasive.
- SimonBlair10 years agoCommunity MemberI scored 13. Me's a thinkin' I talk goodly. :-)
I was surprised by the use of red in the feedback. It made me thing I'd gotten the wrong answer before I read it.- LindaLorenzetti10 years agoSuper HeroWow Simon, that's the highest score I've heard (so far). You do indeed speak goodly : ) I thought about the red being associated with a wrong answer, but I just really like the way red pops next to black & gray.
