This will be interesting. Looking forward to seeing the transformation works.
I kept mine simple by refreshing the original one, adding some animation to the menus and a bit more interaction (not as much as I would like though).
I might do it for the whole course, adding some bolder interactions at a later stage.
Still, if the idea is a makeover, this should do 🙂

- CarrieGauthier-5 years agoCommunity MemberThis looks really good. The clean lines and smooth animation make it far more engaging (and much less eye-roll inducing) than most government/compliance courses. Nice work!
- PreethiR-45f9fe5 years agoCommunity MemberSimple and neat Ricardo!
- JodiSansone5 years agoCommunity MemberBig improvement! I liked the progress bar at the bottom.
- leite-ricardo5 years agoCommunity MemberThanks Jodi. Love your stuff, btw :)
On the final version, the progress bar will also link to the nexts pages/layers, so that the user can either click next/back or the bars.
- AlexanderSalas5 years agoCommunity MemberRicardo, it looks great and it's definitely a vast improvement on the original. Check the hamburger menu hover as it looks like you may be using an icon with no fill. Maybe try a hotspot instead.
- leite-ricardo5 years agoCommunity MemberThanks for spotting it Alexander. I noticed that just few minutes before reading your comment.
Initially, there was no hamburger icon as the menu layer shows by either clicking on the Chapter name or the icon at the top (all on the same column). Was not sure if it was intuitive enough, so I have added the hamburger in last minute and missed that.
Just fixed it by exporting the icon as image and triggering the rectangle behind the icon, which should also improve mobile tap.

- PaulRodger5 years agoCommunity MemberRicardo the drop down menu is excellent - Well done on getting the yellow to work for you in your course I really struggled with it.
- leite-ricardo5 years agoCommunity MemberThanks Paul.
I often try to replicate website style menus in my storyline courses.
Check out this module I have created while at the European Volleyball Confederation: https://s3.eu-west-3.amazonaws.com/ricardoleite/BVB_club/CLUB/story_html5.html
(the functionality is activated after the tutorial)
- alexjinca5 years agoCommunity MemberYou really pulled of the branding, really nice layout. I only used the blue...to scared to go for that bright yellow, good to see it can work out successfully, well done Ricardo!
- LoriSanclemente5 years agoCommunity MemberThis looks really good. I'm curious. Did you use a template or did you create this from scratch?
