Yup, I tend to get trigger and layer happy. Probably should have used 50 tiles instead of 100 to lesson the load on Storyline. oh well. Learning is part of the journey!! Thanks Alex.
- TJBarber-86bded5 years agoCommunity MemberReally interesting, aside from some load time it works great. Are your panels pngs or storyline shapes? cutting down on pngs might help the load time if that's the case. Is there a way to turn off the block hit trigger once you've clicked on them? (I'm not sure how you have it set up) I can toggle them on and off by clicking the same spot, increasing my misses count as well. You might look into having the player lose at a certain score too, could be a countdown or like at 20 misses they sink one of your ships and another at 40 etc etc.
- RichardMulcahy5 years agoCommunity Memberpngs and many gifs. I will check on the Hit Trigger. My original Battleship had a limit on missiles (which you can set). I think the load time issues is the amount of triggers, variables, states and tiles.
