What a great idea to do a recap of your work Nick - fantastic job.
I really like your proof of concept Charles - I'm just starting to use sliders and it seems there's a lot you can do with this feature if you have the imagination. Thanks for sharing.
This is quite an unusual situation to be 2 days into a challenge and have only a couple of entries so far. I was kind of waiting to see what others came up with. Anyway, here's my attempt at an interactive animation. I came across the definition of animation being - "the process of displaying still images in a rapid sequence to create the illusion of movement". At a stretch I think mine qualifies!
Some of the resources I was admiring before jumping into this challenge are on the Portfolio page of Fusion Spark Media: http://new.fusionspark.com/portfolio/interactives/
No blog post for this as yet - but you can view the final product here: http://bit.ly/1Cou5MD

- DavidAnderson10 years agoStaffCool use of slider navigation, Dianne!
Thanks for keeping this week's challenge going. I like the animation change w/ the text flying in from the right. This is the kind of conversation and example that folks really like. - KristinAnthony10 years agoCommunity MemberAnother nice one, Dianne! I like that the slider is vertical on this one. Helps to remind us to think outside the box, design-wise.
- JackieVanNice10 years agoSuper HeroThat's great, Dianne! I like it a lot.
- CharlesZoffuto-10 years agoCommunity MemberI like the clean look and use of slider to move through the content. If I might suggest animating the images as well.
- DianneHope10 years agoCommunity MemberThanks Charles. Any suggestions on how I could animate the images? They're built on separate layers with triggers set to show each layer as the slider is moved. I guess I could use states, but what would trigger the change of state?
- CharlesZoffuto-10 years agoCommunity MemberSince images are on layers you should be able to apply an animation to them. Think about splitting up the images and have the parts animate in to build a final image. For instance for Forming, you could split it into half and have each half animate in to meet in the middle.
