I have two recycled projects that could work here. First, my Robot Wars project makes extensive use of branching- both in the selection of the robot parts and in the game portion.

Second, my Bicycle Thief project is a branching scenario in which information about a crime is revealed based on the choices the user makes - even the video interviews change in some cases depending on the amount of evidence that has been revealed.
