Hello! I think this is the first time I have finished on time. Whoppi!

I am not sure why but my text entry field has a scrolling bar and I can't figure out how to get rid of it.

I've published your story file and also no sign of scrolling panel.
You can inspect the element and check in the developer tools if the CSS overflow property is enabled. It can look like this:
textarea {
overflow: scroll;
}
To get rid of scrolling bar you can change it to auto or hidden.
