Very Peri Cat Vector Button Set

This demo was sitting in my "holding area". A couple weeks ago I started playing with this demo inspired by the Diana Myers example featured in the intro to Challenge #372 on button sets. (David thank you for that video demo because I wouldn't have thought of using a free form quiz slide for it.) I created a simple "Pick Many" question using this cat vector art. My question groupings and buttons were created with the art from the cats' eyes so the whole thing would have a cohesive look and feel. I also experimented with another Very Peri color palette--"Star of the Show". I can never have enough cat vector art. :) The original file can be viewed in the player button.

    Of course you have a "holding area" for challenge demos:-p Were the chat boxes part of the cat vector art? Either way, your cat quiz looks great.

    I like this week's challenge because it can help designers practice new visual styles they might not consider creating from scratch. Thanks for kicking things off this week, Jodi.

      Great idea for a challenge! And yes, the chat boxes are the the eyes of the cat--I liked the irregular shape. The answer buttons are from the sparkle in the cat's eye. And yes, I have a holding area--a bunch of unfinished demos. Usually they are things I want to play with and then run out of inspiration or time, or sometimes I hit a roadblock with it and revisit it later. They aren't ready for primetime yet. E.G., I have a demo in there with xAPI triggers that I am trying figure out after seeing Ron's demo and use of SCORMCLOUD last week. Have a good one!

    I appreciate how you've layered various previous challenges into this one and share your sources of inspiration from within the community. This is a handsome application of the "Star of the Show" palette. I'd love to learn how you included the Source Art as a resource in the player options!

      The modern player has a lot of features I like--my favorite is using the picture or first slide on the start page. I usually do the player first to set the stage. One thing I always do is create an exit tab on top, so people can escape if they get bored. That other tab I used is just custom trigger with a lightbox. Very easy. You can change the tab titles too. It's best just to play around with it!

        Thank you for sharing that information, Jodi! I have been trying to use the "Exit Course" trigger for several attempts to no success yet. I will focus on exploring Player Options this next week for the upcoming challenge.
