Great examples, everyone! While I was looking at them I remembered one other thing I encountered when I first published a portfolio on line. Make sure your security and comment settings are set the way you want. I once posted a demo called "How to Give your Pet a Pill" and I was spammed for months with erectile dysfunction solicitations--sometimes 30 a day. Also, I removed most of my personal information because I was receiving phony messages that sounded so convincing that I fell for one and wasted a ton of time until I figured out I was being scammed. There are shady people out there!
- Great advice, I have my WordPress set to inform me of any comments so I can approve or reject them. I've also noticed that if you set it up that way, you usually don't get much spam to review in the first place, because they know they would not get approved.
