USA Pet Ownership Statistics Comparison--Slider
Demo and Download:

Happy 10 years! I've learned a lot from these challenges and appreciate all the demos and friends that have helped me learn and grow my skills since I started with #188.
This demo is an interactive comparison of statistics on pet ownership done in Vyond--but you could use the concept to compare anything. I used one of Vyond's chart animations. Today I posted my demo in 360 Review with the download file in the resource tab if you want to check it out. I usually post in my AWS S3 account, but my account was mysteriously suspended today "for security reasons" and I can't figure out how to get it restored. AWS says it may take days...that will be a drag!

- Yvonne3 years agoCommunity MemberI hope that AWS bug gets fixed soon, although I find it refreshing to get to leave you a note on Review360. :) I personally enjoy Review360 feedback because it gets emailed to me and helps me keep track of who I've connected with and about which projects.
- JodiSansone3 years agoCommunity MemberThank you...I use 360 a lot when I'm working on a project and collect client feedback, but I use AWS for my demos, just to keep track of them separately. I'm still in AWS "jail" for some reason and no one will tell me why or when it will be fixed. It's been almost a week and for some reason, after four years, I can't be "authenticated"...though they have no problem collecting money from me. :) I have nearly 200 demos in AWS so I need it fixed.
- AlyshaKeyser3 years agoCommunity MemberThis is interesting! Where did you get your data?
- JodiSansone3 years agoCommunity MemberHi Alysha. I found the stats on a site called statisica.com. I don't now how reliable this site is, but for this demo I didn't feel a need to verify the info as it was just for fun. :)
- Ange3 years agoCommunity MemberGreat! Statistica is a fantastic source for ideas for these challenges. I use it when nothing comes to mind. Some cool data graphics too.
- EstherHeise3 years agoCommunity MemberI really like how you've put this together, especially with those sweet little animated animals!
- Samuel3 years agoCommunity MemberVery well done!
- HannahRadant-003 years agoCommunity MemberLove your sound effects and the animations in your graphs!
- maren_west3 years agoCommunity MemberWhat a great way to show a lot of information on one screen without overwhelming the learner! I really enjoyed the animal animations as well!
- NormaJohnson-4b3 years agoCommunity MemberI loved the sound effect and feel of the slide. Great example.
- JodiSansone3 years agoCommunity MemberThanks everyone for the kind words. All those animations are mini Vyond videos, so they are easy to create with the built-in data pie charts.
- LindaLorenzetti3 years agoSuper HeroVery nice, as always, Jodi. I like how your smooth graphic transitions and animal sounds make the data more interesting.
