Hello!
Showing my age again this week, with this BRITPOP quiz.
I've used the same layout across six freeform question slides, plus a fallback interaction for the Drag and Drop - which took me as long to build as the rest of the demo!

- Jonathan_Hill2 years agoSuper HeroP.S. if you view this on a mobile device, the Shortcut key question will replaced with a Pick One question, as Shortcut key questions don't play nicely on mobiles.
- LauraHansen-0652 years agoCommunity MemberI've never used the shortcut key question type before, so this is pushing me! I want my answer to be the number 30, but articulate only seems to allow 3 or 0. Am I missing something?
- Jonathan_Hill2 years agoSuper HeroYeah, the Shortcut Key only registers a single key press - like the 'shortcuts' available in certain programs via the F1, F2 keys back in the day.
Text Entry will recognise a string (more than one character), so you could use that format to ask a question with the answer '30'.
- Ange2 years agoCommunity MemberDespite failing miserably, I enjoyed the different quiz formats, especially the drag and drop with fallback interaction. Thank you for info re: shortcut key on mobiles - good to know what doesn't play nice instead of wasting hours trying to coax it.
- Jonathan_Hill2 years agoSuper HeroThanks Ange. Unlike Text Entry interactions, there's no entry field in a Shortcut Key question, so there's nothing to prompt your keypad to open on a mobile. The Javascript I have added to this demo tells Storyline if it's being viewed on a mobile, then diverts the user to an alternative version of the same question.
- JordanBrayman2 years agoCommunity MemberHey Jonathan, is it possible for you to post your Storyline file? Thank you, I love your work!
- Jonathan_Hill2 years agoSuper HeroSure, I'm just tidying up the master file. The fallback interaction for the Drag and Drop is a bit of a beast in terms of triggers and variables.
