One of my favorite places here in U.S. Southwest is Joshua Tree National Park--December is a great time to go because the days are crisp for hiking or rock climbing, and the nights are clear for stargazing. I tried to give you a real sense of what it feels and sounds like out there. I used the new soundtrack feature for the audio (with some wind added), and then used some Storyline features that I don't usually use--a couple web object maps and that quick zoom-picture feature. - It's a great park! Only 30 miles across so you don't feel lost. Winter is a great time to go--not too hot and you have a better chance of seeing the Big Horn Sheep. If you go back, make sure to spend some time at the Integratron. :)
