I found this 2021 article that had "research" on the best places to live in the USA if you have a dog. In this demo I used an interactive map to show the top 10 cities and a lightbox to show the back-up data--it is from a financial services company called Smart Asset. Not sure I concur with the findings, but it made for a good demo. Have a great week!

- KarinLorbeck3 years agoCommunity MemberVery nice! Makes me appreciate living in San Diego with my two dogs :) I noticed that Michigan was highlighted for Madison, Wisconsin. I have one kid in college in each state, so it stood out to me. I'm sure that's an easy fix!
- JodiSansone3 years agoCommunity MemberThanks for checking this out. Lucky you! I would pick San Diego over every place on this list--great weather all year round, fun things to see and do. It must be a dog-friendly city with a stadium called PetCo Park. And I double-checked my map too and Wisconsin is highlighted. Best wishes to your kids in the midwest!

- AnuradhaGopu3 years agoCommunity MemberWhat a great topic Jodi! This was beautiful and very well executed. I liked being able to see the table at one place, and more details on each city separately.

- FredericBrewer3 years agoCommunity MemberThat was interesting Jodi, thank you. It was a nice touch to have both a cumulative table + individual write ups on each location. Good to have those different perspectives and insights. Now that I think about it, I don't believe I've ever seen a dog in a restaurant over in the parts of the US I've lived in! Cheers.
