My submission displays the average price of domestic flights departing from NYC's three aiports over the last eight quarters.
In addition to animating the line graphs, I used a toggle trigger on the buttons so that you can view the lines in different combinations.
No matter how you look at it, prices dropped significantly during the worst of the pandemic but have since somewhat recovered. However, the relative position of each airport's average domestic flight price remained steady throughout this bounce.

Ditto what Ron said. These stats are so interesting. I would love to see the number of flights stats or flight capacity as well. I used to fly in and out of LGA or JFK 4x per month for work. I've only been on 2 flights for all of 2020-2021, but I've tripled the mileage on my car. Thanks for posting this!
- FredericBrewer3 years agoCommunity MemberYes all of those stats and more are available at BTS.gov, it's a vast resource. Sounds like quite a lifestyle with all the travelling you did. I think driving has more charm to it anyways. Well, thanks a lot for checking out my project :)
