Here's an interactive video quiz I created for a client in the aeronautics industry about how to tow an airplane.

I have to thank Montse Anderson as it was inspired by her airport security interactive video quiz which you can see in challenge #157.
Here's my blog about how I built it:

- DanSweigert5 years agoCommunity MemberThanks David! The client provided all the video footage. I just did the video editing in Pinnacle Studio and the rest in Storyline.

- VeronicaBudnika5 years agoSuper HeroThat's a neat example Dan, video is especially great for technical topics like this one.
- JodiSansone5 years agoCommunity MemberWell, I tried and only got 33%. :)
- DanSweigert5 years agoCommunity MemberThanks Jodi, I wouldn't beat myself up for that score. ;) This was an actual quiz I used for a client which came at the end of a lesson where all that info gets explained.
- TobiasNoeske5 years agoCommunity MemberThe only thing I didn't like about the example is that you use a competitor tow bar in your course.
Working for a GSE manufacturer (and writing manuals for tow bars) I really liked the example and still learned a few new things. I'll challenge my colleagues with this one.- DanSweigert5 years agoCommunity MemberTobias, that's wild, what a small world! I remember in one of the other videos, they were using an orange tow bar. I wonder how many different manufacturers are out there.
- TobiasNoeske5 years agoCommunity MemberMore than you may think. I know of at least 3 in Germany alone.
By the way i scored 73% so even for me as an "expert" I learned some new details, especially related to whatever is connected to a tow bar at the connecting ends. Despite knowing a lot about tow bars I hardly know anything about tugs.
But that's what I liked about your quiz: Even without taking the course I could learn a lot. I imagine if I had taken the course the quiz with the video chunks would perfectly support me in remebering what I just learned.
