Everything we build starts with this community. Your questions, ideas, and day-to-day conversations shine a light on what matters most, and that’s exactly what shaped this round of updates.

Today, we’re rolling out new Rise, Storyline, Review, and Localization features inspired by what you’ve asked for—so creating training feels faster, smoother, and a lot more fun.

Read on to get a closer look at what’s new and join us for a webinar with David Anderson on January 20th at 11 a.m. E.T. to see these updates in action: Register for the Q4 2025 What’s New webinar.

Rise

This quarter, we released four powerful new features in Rise. Want to learn more about features we’ve released in previous quarters? Check out the full list here: Rise Version History.

Manage Blocks

When you’re deep in course creation mode, you don’t want anything to disrupt your creative flow. We get it! That’s why we added the Manage Blocks feature. Now, you can reorganize your course content faster than ever by reordering or deleting multiple blocks at once with simple drag-and-drop. You can even copy content to another lesson within your course—no template needed. Talk about a major time saver!

Hear what other e-learning heroes are saying about Manage Blocks:

“I used this yesterday, and it was SO helpful when needing to move blocks around. I love it!” they shared.

- CherylStGermain

Quick Share

Have you ever needed to get training out to your team so quickly that waiting for your LMS admin to upload the course just wasn't feasible? In the past, you might’ve resorted to sending a course link to your team via email—hoping you could trust them to review it, with no real way to know if they ever did.

With the new Quick Share feature in Rise, you can share and track training in just a few clicks. With this secure, shareable link, learners can view your training content without an account or LMS access. It’s a simple, streamlined way to deliver training quickly while still tracking learner engagement.

Hear what other e-learning heroes are saying about Quick Share:

“The guestbook gives us a general view of engagement — perfect for quick stakeholder visibility,”

- BradDameron

AI-Generated Captions

Providing captions is essential to ensuring course accessibility. But manually creating captions for videos can be time-consuming. Luckily, now when you upload a video, you can generate and sync closed captions with AI Assistant. From there, you can refine and polish as needed—all without leaving Rise.

Enhanced AI Image Generation

When generating images with any AI tool, it’s not uncommon to get an image that's slightly different than what you were looking for. AI is evolving fast, and we’re dedicated to keeping pace so you always have the latest and greatest tools at your fingertips. With our improved AI, you’ll see even more accurate image results—right down to the text that appears in your images.

Want to see the difference for yourself? Try typing this sentence into the AI image block in Rise: “A welcome home! banner over a red door on a white house.” Then, switch back to the legacy model and compare the results. You’ll be amazed by the improvement!

Storyline

Storyline got two new features this quarter that we know you’re going to love! Remember, if you want to explore every update in detail, be sure to check out the Storyline Version History.

Just like Rise, Storyline’s AI image generation model got a serious makeover. You know the drill: with our improved AI, you'll get those precise results you want, text included!

AI JavaScript Entrance Animations

Have a specific animation in mind? Now, you don’t need to know how to code to make the slide of your dreams come to life. With the new AI JavaScript Entrance Animations feature, you can describe the effect you want, and  AI Assistant helps you take your project to the next level.

And that’s not all! This feature is twice as exciting because it's the first feature to be released for our new AI Chat experience. So, not only are you getting the animations you’ve always wanted without any coding, but you’re also getting a preview of what’s in store for enhancements to AI Assistant. Spoiler alert: It's the same AI Assistant you know and have interacted with; we’re just revamping it to streamline your workflow.

Check out this example of how one of our e-learning heroes, Caitlin_B, is using AI JavaScript Entrance Animations.

Review

When it comes to streamlining course collaboration, Review has got you covered. It makes project reviews, feedback, and approvals a breeze (we seriously don’t know what we’d do without it!) Read on to learn what’s new in Review. Check out the Review Version History to see other improvements.

Annotated Screenshots

We heard you loud and clear—you’re sick of endless feedback loops. Good news! This quarter, we released Annotated Screenshots. Now reviewers can give crystal-clear feedback by adding text, drawings, and shapes to screenshots in Review. We know how frustrating the review process can be, hopefully this makes it a little easier!

Hear what other e-learning heroes are saying about annotated screenshots:

“Being able to mark directly on the screenshot (with arrows or boxes) saves a ton of back-and-forth clarifications. It feels like such a simple addition, but it’s one of those features that really improves the overall collaboration flow in Review 360,” -Robert410

Localization

Can you believe it's almost been a full year since we released Articulate Localization?! We can’t—but we’re so thankful for your invaluable feedback and success stories. We’re continuing to innovate, learn, and iterate, with your help. Check out the Localization Version History to see other improvements.

Text-to-Speech Translation

Tired of wasting time manually localizing each audio file? We’ve got an improvement you’re going to love. Now AI Assistant localizes audio files for you automatically. Think of the time you’ll save not having to manually regenerate or record the audio one slide at a time!

  • Annotated screenshots is great! Suggestion for a future update, allow the screenshots to capture the built-in menu for Storyline projects in the screenshot as well. I attempted to use this feature today to comment on an incorrect slide order, but the annotated screenshot function only captured the Storyline slide and not the menu, so I had to make a separate screenshot and attach it to my Review comment.
