My 2025

It’s hard to believe how quickly this year flew by...

I didn’t have as much free time as in previous years to build big, complex examples, but I still did my best to join every challenge — even if it meant creating smaller, simpler projects.

One of my favourite discoveries this year was exploring the new features in Rise. Being able to create custom blocks feels like a real game changer. And adding code blocks is a huge bonus. Working with code is something I’d really like to improve next year — right now, there are still ideas I can’t fully bring to life.

Here are a couple of my favourite Rise examples so far.

This year, I also experimented with using code in my Storyline projects. The results were mixed, but I still managed to make a few things work — and that already feels like progress.😂

For example, I managed to set up sending a completed learning journal by email, as well as moving a selection indicator between different points in tabbs interactions.

Challenges focused on new features were especially valuable for me. I don’t always keep up with updates and can easily miss a new button or option. But when a challenge is built around a new feature — and includes helpful learning resources — it makes a huge difference. That’s how I discovered the merge feature, for example 😀

And of course, a huge thank you to everyone who shares their work in these challenges. Your examples are incredibly inspiring 💛

  • I really liked several of your challenges, Kate_Golomshtok , and I've already written about it. So, once again. I even made a second demo for ELC#510 because I found yours really inspiring, and I wanted to try something very similar, in my own way.
I think you have a real talent for graphics, which I envy.
I hope to continue seeing you next year.

I really enjoyed taking a closer look at your work! I especially enjoyed the beautiful music and design of your 'The Magic of The Nutcracker' course, as we are in the holiday season!

Looking forward to seeing what you create in 2026! ✨
