Masters Project
Hi everyone! I am new to the group. I have used Storyline a couple of times in the past for a few different things, but I am now starting my master's project and plan to use Storyline to build a course for it. I am wondering if anyone has any thoughts or words of wisdom for me as I start? Thank you so much in advance!

I love that you're thinking of building this with accessibility in mind, carrieg32.
I can't wait to see the suggestions folks have for you. Feel free to take a look at our Accessibility Index for a list of resources as well.

Gagne's Nine Events could help make sure it's engaging. Don't be afraid to use (thoughtful) transitions and fades to smooth out content. Is there a specific topic you're pursuing or a particular obstacle you're anticipating?

For an engagement standpoint in your module, I would consider Universal Design for Learning as your starting place. Go through each section of that framework and ensure you are connecting your activities/content through some of these principles. This helps you cover many of your bases in terms of engagement AND accessible practices. Here is a link UDL Guidelines CAST.org and if you can print out a copy of those guidelines and keep it close by as you develop. Best of luck to you in your program and project!! If you need more advice, I'm happy to help!
