    Hi jpatrickomes​ and SamHill​,

    I have some great news to share! We just released another update for Storyline 360. In Update 3.117.36909.0, we’ve included important fixes and new features. One of the bugs we’ve fixed is:

    • A trigger designed to fire with a user click incorrectly executed when using a screen reader.

     

    Launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer to take advantage of this update, and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You’ll find our step-by-step instructions here.

Hi jpatrickomes​ you have found a bug. I can confirm this behaviour also occurs with JAWS 2025, but does not occur when just navigating with keyboard and no screen reader. For some reason, the combination of screen reader + keyboard is somehow activating the "click outside" trigger.

I will log an issue with Articulate and direct them to this post and your storyline file.
