Food Groups - Accordion Interaction #544
I created an accordion interaction in Storyline on food groups. Nutrition is often in the news, and for home health teams, understanding the basics is critical. Patients rely on caregivers to reinforce healthy choices and identify potential dietary risks. I designed this interaction to guide clinicians through the essentials, helping them quickly understand and apply the information in ways that directly support patient care.
How I did it:
I experimented with motion paths for dynamic transitions but found that simple fade-right and fade-left animations kept the experience smooth and saved a lot of time- so I erased all of my motion paths and kept it simple. I did create 2 layers for each food group (forward slides have animations that fade left, whereas back slides have animations that fade right). My storyline file is included for reference.
