How long are each of the 'Office Hours' sessions, you've listed the start time but not the end time?
Looks like 1 hour duration each based on the calendar invites from the Zoom links.
Hi HVfb0f498d-053b the office hours sessions are 1 hour! You can stay as long as you like, and I'll send the recording to all cohort participants the following day.

I think I am having issues with copying the Rise course because I am using the EU server, so I cannot get a copy of the course when I click on the link in week 1... Did you run into that issue before?

FabienneHi Fabienne_Werder! I'm sorry about that! Due to the strong data separation that's needed between the EU and the US data centers, there isn't a way to copy a course from one data center to another.
To get around this, I added the course's Quick Share link to the activity page. This will allow you to view the course and it's videos, and you can copy the practice text into your own course. Remember, these activities are just for practice, so just do you best, and no worries if there is a portion that cannot be completed due to this restriction. 😊

Yes I know, we ran into the same issue when we had to copy our courses from the US datacenter to the EU center...A lot of manual copy pasting🙈
AlyssaGomez Heads up: The calendar invites I can add through the Zoom confirmation emails for office hours don't add the Zoom link to the invite and are not editable. So, I had to manually add a second calendar event at the same time to have quick access to the Zoom link from my calendar. This could be a Google Workspace issue, but wanted you to be aware!
Hi Scott663 thanks for calling this out! I had a look and ran into the same issue. It seems that this happens because Zoom creates a personalized URL for each person who registers. This why a universal static link cannot be pre-populated into a mass calendar invite beforehand.
To get around this, registrants will want to click the Add to Google Calendar link at the bottom of the Zoom confirmation email (shown below). This will ensure your unique link gets added to the calendar invite. That worked for me, so hopefully it should work for others!

I thought I went through all of the Week 1 resources but as I look towards the next week, I'm not sure if I saw this: Apply two prompts or techniques you learned from the "Tips & Tricks: How to Get the Most Value Out of AI Assistant" Rise course.

Hello. I will be on vacation for Week 2 of the cohort. Can I get a week-long extension to complete all required work so that I can earn the certification?
Hi SB83, good question! We built the cohort with lots of flexibility in mind, knowing that most people won't be available for the full two-week window.
The activities take only about 4 hours total, and most are self-paced practice. There's just one hands-on challenge that needs to be submitted. You're welcome to complete everything at any point during the two weeks.
And don't worry if you need a little extra breathing room toward the end—I usually add a little more flexibility to accommodate that. :)

AlyssaGomez - Thank you for such a lovely initiative. I am a curious learner, but since our Articulate Subscription has not been renewed, I want to know how can I participate in the cohort?

Hi MalvikaMalho044! This cohort is hands-on, so you'll need access to Articulate products to complete it.
Since, our organization has decided not to go ahead with Articulate and having it on my own is way too expensive - all the best to all for this cohort.
Does Rise have the ability to generate Alt text for an entire course like Storyline does?
Hi BelleHabs! In Rise, you'll need to add alt text to images one-by-one.
And if you replace the image, you have to add the Alt text again...
Thank you for offering this learning opportunity. I've successfully accessed a copy of the Week 1 Rise course. However, on the Week 1 Activities page, there's a note about the Storyline portion of the activity being optional, but I don't see how to access a Storyline course. Is there a download link that I may have missed? Thanks in advance for your support. 😊 Here's the note from below step 2:

Hey there, quick question. I completed the Articulate AI Assistant Cohort that yall offered back in March. Are these materials/activities the same or is this an extension of what was already learned? Just want to make sure I'm not redoing what Ive already completed. Thanks for your help! 😁
