Hi everyone,
My name is Fabienne and I live in Zurich, Switzerland. I have worked as an instructional designer and educator at MeteoSwiss, our national meteorological office, for the past six years. My role involves educating and training all our meteorological staff, which includes planning, developing, delivering and tracking training activities.
In addition, I am an instructional designer for EUMETCAL, a European programme that aims to maximise collaboration between meteorological offices across Europe. In this role, I mainly develop training materials, organise hackathons, train trainers, and act as the main point of contact for all training-related matters.
I use Storyline and Rise on a daily basis, and I am also quite experienced with AI integration. However, I would still like to develop my AI skills further and hope to learn some nice tricks and hacks from you.
I don't have a pet (only the occasional unwelcome spider or waspπ) but I have plenty of bikes and skis that keep me busy.π

Switzerland is such a beautiful country! We visited in 2017 - mainly Zurich - but we did take a cog wheel train up to the top of Europe. (Jungfraujoch).
Hi Fabienne, your role sounds SO cool (and so busy!) How many offices are involved in EUMETCAL?
I hope you find some tips that help you over the course of the cohort. What tools you find most helpful in your AI integration right now?

Hi everyone! I'm Eunice Christina, and I'm currently based in Bangalore, India.
I work in Learning Content Design and Development, where I design engaging learning experiences, create interactive eLearning content, and develop solutions that help learners build the skills they need to succeed. A big part of my role involves exploring new ways to make learning more effective, immersive, and learner-centric.
I'm excited to learn from everyone here, exchange ideas, and discover new ways to apply AI to create meaningful learning experiences.
P.S: I have no pets, but two little toddlers πΆπΆ - BethanyTitoCommunity Member
Hola! My name is Bethany Tito and I was a manager on a T&OD team for a landscape supply company for 5 years but my family and I recently decided to take a sabbatical and we are currently living in Valencia, Spain.
I miss my role in building in-person and on-demand training experiences and am using this time off to do some upskilling (yep, I put myself on a personal development plan) and learn best practices for utilizing AI to automate the tedious tasks (like animations and effects) involved in content creation.
We don't have any pets but here is a picture from the City of Arts & Science- a must-do in our new home!

We do love it! There's always events and happenings around town, the city is really well connected, and we're getting to meet people from all over the world. All big moves have their challenges, of course. I hope you have an amazing visit- October will be heavenly compared to the temps right now. Feel free to reach out if you have questions!

Hello, I'm Diane, working as an e-learning developer at Durham County Council, UK. No pets at the moment, but I foster them. Here is a cocker spaniel puppy for your certain delight.
Hey Diane! Certain delight indeed, those eyes are too precious. How long have you been fostering?
I hope the cohort helps with your work at the County Council. What sort of subject matter are you typically working on?- DianeBullock-32Community Member
Hi MaryEmma_Garyβ I've been fostering for 5 years, but it's cats now :) . Could be anything at DCC as we have about 10-12,000 learners. Currently working on disciplinary training and care worker training. Not long finished some data breach stuff. Lots of variety!

Morning, I'm Hugh, based in leafy Surrey, in the UK, working for a science based company. Officially I'm an eLearning Developer. I've been using Articulate for as long as I can remember (old timer). I know I'm not using the AI tools effectively enough so that's why I joined this cohort.

Hi everyone, I'm Phoebe Wray-Sparks and I am based in Kent, England. I currently work as a Junior Courseware Developer for a software company called Smart Communications. My work involves creating both instructor-led training and e-learning for our clients.
I am joining this course to become more familiar with the AI tools that come with our license, particularly with the AI course creator and how to create effective source material that it will understand. I have been using the AI Articulate tools for around a year, so hoping to get some more advanced techniques I can use.
I may not be able to join the live sessions due to time zones (I will try!), but I thought I would introduce myself regardless.
I unfortunately do not have any fluffy friends at home but there were some ducklings born in the river local to me recently.

I'm Raghu from Bangalore, and I work as a Lead Instructional Designer at Eurofins. We mainly use the Articulate suite to develop eLearning solutions for our training needs.
I joined this program to explore the AI capabilities available in Articulate and learn how to leverage them to create more engaging and user-friendly learning experiences.
As for the fun questionβno, I don't have any pets at home!
