Greetings, everyone. I am Frank Karnauskas and I am a volunteer executive for the Radio Amateur Satellite Corporation (AMSAT). We have been building and flying satellites for educational and scientific purposed for over 55 years now.
I created a Youth Initiative to help get kids interested in aerospace and communications. I work with retired science teachers to create free online courses for our "Satellites in Space Help Us Live a Better Life on Earth" series. You can see our first four offerings at http://www.BuzzSat.com
Title page for a typical course offering. We are underusing the powers of Storyline 360 because we want to get ten courses online this year. We hope to use the AI functionality to improve the courses when we go through them again later for V2.0. We are all unpaid volunteers here, so if you are looking to do good and you have some spare time on your hands, we would like to hear from you!

Thanks for sharing this! I took a look, and I think this is a really insightful and intuitive resource for kids who are interested in learning about weather. As a instructional designer, with a focus on adult learning experience I really appreciate how the content is presented in a way that makes a complex topic like meteorology feel approachable and engaging for younger learners. The structure, clarity, and learner-focused approach do a great job of encouraging curiosity and helping kids understand what is happening around them.
I think this is a great tool for introducing children to weather science and could even inspire those who may want to explore a future career in meteorology or other STEM fields.

Hello, everyone! Iโm Dr. Sherry Stancil, a communication professor and instructional designer from Madison, Alabama. I teach public speaking and interpersonal communication at Calhoun Community College, where I also develop online courses, interactive learning experiences, and faculty training resources. Much of my current work focuses on using AI, HTML, SCORM, automation, and instructional design to create engaging, accessible learning experiences in Canvas. I have also used Articulate Storyline and Rise in corporate projects.
I joined the Articulate AI Assistant Certification Cohort because I want to strengthen my skills with Articulateโs AI features and explore how they can support faster, more effective course development. I am particularly interested in improving my workflows for developing accessible content, meaningful interactions, assessments, and SCORM-based learning experiences.
Since I do not have a dog or cat to feature in my get-to-know-me picture, I chose a waterfall instead! I used to enjoy hiking and exploring places like this, but since COVID, I have spent far more time glued to my computer than walking a trail. I am hoping the waterfall will at least remind me that I need to get back outside occasionally. ๐
Iโm excited to learn from everyone, exchange ideas, and see what we create together!

Hello! I am Tina, and I'm an Instructional Designer and Developer in San Antonio, TX. I have had an opportunity to use AI Assistant in Rise a bit, and I am excited to learn some more tips and tricks. However, I have not had an opportunity to explore AI Assistant in SL, so I am really looking forward to learning more. I always enjoy collaborating and learning from each other.
Here is a pic of my hardworking colleagues, Louie and Remi. They keep me from permanently fusing to my office chair by reminding me to take them outside.
