Hi everyone!
I'm Shimell from Atlanta, GA. π I work as an Instructional Designer for a Georgia state agency, where I design and develop learning experiences, create training materials, and help employees expand their knowledge, develop new skills, and add practical tools to their professional toolbox so they can be successful in their roles.I'm excited to be part of this cohort in a different role! I participated in the previous cohort as a learner, and this time I'm thrilled to be serving as a peer guide. I'm looking forward to connecting with many of you, hearing about what you learn, and discovering your biggest takeaways throughout the program. I can't wait to see the creative projects everyone develops during the final week. Good luck and have fun!
I'd like to introduce my roommate and coworker Xena! She's creative, opinionated, and expressive, and she definitely keeps things interesting. π

Hi everyone!
I'm joining all of you from the DMV area. I'm an eLearning Instructional Designer/Developer and have been building courses for both government and commercial clients for many years.
I am absolutely thrilled to be in this cohort and can't wait to dive into the new AI features and see how they can transform our workflows. Looking forward to learning with you all! - AmEy_MichelleCommunity Member
Hi everyone!
Iβm Amey Michelle, a Sr TTP & ID at Trimble, and a proud born-and-raised yinzer from the steel city of Pittsburgh, PA (the 412!).
In my day-to-day role, I develop and manage customer Onboarding & Training for Trimbleβs specialized software productsβspecifically Tekla, VDC, and FabShop βas well as our One Trimble services. As the sole content developer creating eLearning for these tools, a major part of my focus is on developing new & modernizing the existing legacy material that is 6+ years out of date. Drawing on my background in L&D, I also actively mentor, guide, and support internal teammates who are novices in the field and are developing their professional skills to become trainers and instructional designers.
I love all things Articulate and joined this AI Assistant Certification Cohort to learn how to effectively leverage AI to streamline & speed up my design workflow. Bringing practical AI skills back to other teammates is a top priority, especially as Trimble deepens its AI adoption across our products and services. Iβm always looking for opportunities to:
- Expand my knowledge π€
- Master new techniques π€
- Continue growing professionally in the ID & TTP world π€
On a fun note, I share my home with three wonderful rescue Dogs & two happy rescue Guinea Pigs:- Skippy β a 16.5-year-old "Supermutt" mix (a blend of Beagle, German Shepherd, Pit Bull, Collie, and Australian Cattle Dog, rescued from OH)
- Jack β an 8.5-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (rescued from WV)
- Groot β an energetic 8-month-old Beagle (rescued from MD)
- Dave (short hair) & Buster (long hair) β veggie lovers & 2-year-old brothers
I'm looking forward to connecting with and learning alongside everyone!

Well, hey there, everyone! I'm Robin Innes from the California State University Chancellor's Office in Long Beach. While I might have an official job title, I'm essentially an instructional designer.
I joined this AI Certification Cohort for two reasons. First, our department recently got our staff the AI upgrade to our licenses. Second, the CSU is strongly promoting the incorporation of AI in both work activities and in (appropriate) student learning.
So, may I introduce you to...SPESHUL KITTEH!!!!!

Hi everyone!
I'm Andy Wan from Malaysia.
I work as an eLearning Developer, where I collaborate with instructional designers to build interactive learning content using Articulate Storyline. I also occasionally conduct training sessions for clients to help them get the most out of Articulate products. My day-to-day is a mix of course development, problem-solving, and helping others create engaging learning experiences.
I joined this AI Assistant Certification Cohort because I want to better understand AI assistants and explore their potential in both my work and e
veryday tasks. I'm especially looking forward to learning practical tips and tricks, discovering the latest AI features, and finding ways to apply AI to eLearning development and training.
Bonus: I have a tuxedo cat named Kuro (it's a Japanese name π). Since I'm busy with work, he's currently staying with my parents, but he's still very much my little buddy. I'll share a photo of him below!

David in Perth, Western Australia.
I'm in a safety/training role, dealing with a mix of 1995 era docs procedure knowledge and 2005 LMS online compliance content. I'm moving into 2025 driving digital-first strategy, bringing a specific set of skills.
I built a Rise course on A360 trial to make the business case obvious for A360 team licenses. AI features in A360 have grown in the last year so is a value-add for colleagues new to the suite helping motivated SME's become part of the content team. The AI import equivalent for Rise helps new starters acheive real content draft like the vast usable template lessons library... a modern equivalent to what SL has had since inception to import source PPT.I explored AI in the past year I have settled on G-One AI Pro privately, always evaluating against the enterperise Copilot preview, and various 3rd party product implementations that parallel content authoring.
This cohort is timely to share and learn while I finalise change management. I'm always seeking industry best practice to assure my recommendations across systems and business functions are contextually relevant with underlying rationale from decades of complementary experience.
We are fortunate to have historical resource bloat so nobody has any appetite to compound it with AI chaff.
Bonus following Andy, our tuxedo Beau (as kitten and also grown pic sunbaking), is youngest in the home with two elder females trying to keep him in line. - KevinDevin-f313Community Member
Hi everyone! I'm Kevin from the Seattle area. I work for PACCAR Parts as the Dealer Training Manager. My team creates training for our dealer network, so my days are usually spent working with subject matter experts, building learning content, and figuring out better ways to help people learn and perform their jobs.
I joined this Cohort because AI is becoming a greater part of my workflow, and I want to utilize it as a tool to purposefully speed up the production of our eLearning courses. I'm expecting to pick up new ideas while learning from everyone else's experiences along the way. I'm looking forward to working with all of you!

Hi Everyone! I'm Demi and have been working as a Senior Digital Consultant for almost 3 years at IFS International. So basically, I've been having an amazing experience making Product training oriented for the Internals, Partners, and Customers of the Company. Further is responsible for finding different innovative ways to use AI for our digital training. I'm from Sri Lanka, a beautiful Island in the Indian Ocean, known as the Pearl of the Indian Ocean. As much as I would love to have any animal under the sky as a pet, unfortunately, I live in an apartment that has a strict no-pets policy. However, I take time to pet any animals I meet while I go on my evening strolls. π Exicted to be a part of the Program for the next two weeks. π

Hi everyone. I'm Rich Nath from the Houston, TX area, and I work for World Fuel. I'm responsible for creating and delivering training content for both internal teams (typically sales) and customers.
I joined the cohort to learn how I can use AI as a tool to make my life easier, ideally from an instructional design standpoint. I'm a team of two, so hopefully what I learn from this can be used by both myself and my teammate.
