Hi everyone!
I'm Sheila and I live in Toronto, Canada. I currently work the health sector as an Instructional Designer where I develop training to support competency development for a range of health professionals.
My organization just recently added the AI functionalities in Articulate and the demos I've seen on what it can do have been amazing! I'm hoping to build my skills in using these AI tools to create engaging content for my courses.
P.S. I'm allergic to dogs but have always wanted to own a pet. I've really enjoyed seeing everyone's pictures of their pets!
I'm excited to be learning with you all!

Hi Everyone. I'm Jodi and I currently live out in the California desert near Palm Springs. I'm an independent consultant and I just completed my 10 year anniversary working with Storyline. I was initially trained by one of my favorite community members, Ron Price, from the Yukon Group. Before I started my e-learning career I was a brand manager and marketing/advertising professional in New York.
I joined the cohort because I have been working remotely since 2004, and I miss having cube mates and learning from others informally. Technology is moving so quickly now that I felt I need take more initiative to keep up.
I don't currently have any pets, but you can find out a lot about my cats Trixie and Alice in some of the ELH challenges from 2018 and 2019. :) Almost every demo I did had something to do with cats and dogs back then.
I look forward to being a good cohort member!

Hi, I'm Stephanie from Southern California!
I'm a Senior Learning Experience Designer at Northwestern Mutual, where I create training for employees who process and support long-term care, life, and disability claims. I spend most of my time building process training, interactive scenarios, software simulations, and demo videos that help people learn complex work and apply it on the job.
I joined this cohort to expand my AI skills and learn how to better incorporate AI into my eLearning workflow, particularly in Articulate Storyline and Rise. I'm excited to explore new ways AI can help with design, development, and creating engaging learner experiences.
Bonus introduction: Meet my dog, who volunteered to be my co-pilot for this post and insisted on wearing a festive New Year's hat! πΆπΎπ

Hi πShelley here. I'm Technical Editor for British Rowing, based in London with a view of the Thames river in Hammersmith. We've only recently acquired Articulate as we want to provide more elearning opportunities for rowing coaches around the country, and eventually more of the rowing community. I joined this cohort as I feel I need to get ahead of the curve when it comes to AI, and not feel so intimidated using it. Really looking forward to the next couple of weeks!
Sadly I do not have any pets of my own but loving the photos.- smritichoudharyCommunity Member
Your post took me right back to my London days! π My office was near Southwark Bridge, overlooking the Thames. The views were amazing, and I still miss them sometimes!

Hey everybody. My name is Marrissa Nichols and I am located in and a native of Charlotte, NC. In a previous career iteration, I was a high school English teacher. Part of my current job responsibilities at Duke Energy as a Knowledge Management Team member is to provide onboarding and continuing training for our internal Enterprise Helpdesk analysts.
I am brand spanking new to Articulate and am looking forward to learning all I can about this versatile tool and taking my training courses to the next level. Additionally, there are about five AI-powered initiatives currently at my company, so this course offering seemed like kismet.
Unfortunately, my last furry family member, Sniffy Underdog Nichols, traveled to that big dog park in the sky several years ago. He was a beagle mix and sounded EXACTLY like a seal when he barked.
I'm so sorry for your loss of Sniffy Underdog π Beagles always seem to have the silliest barks.
I hope the cohort helps you get familiar with Articulate! We have a ton of user guides for the non-AI features, so as you peruse the tool don't hesitate to check them out (or ask questions!)- MichelleFili153Community Member
Hi Marrissa_Nβ I'm also at Duke Energy in St. Petersburg on the non-reg side. Please reach out! I was also a high school Chemistry teacher is a previous life. So glad we were able to get the AI version of Articulate. I mostly work with Storytime.

Hi everyone! π
I'm Elena, a Learning Developer living near Toronto, Canada (we just had a blast during the FIFA World Cup β I had to include a photo! β½).
I spend most of my time building in Rise and Storyline, and lately I've been having a lot of fun creating promo and course intro videos in Camtasia. I love making learning look polished, but even more importantly, making it MMM π (meaningful, motivational, and memorable) for learners.
Our team recently got access to AI Assistant in Articulate, so we've been busy trying out all the new features. I'm excited to earn the certification, swap ideas with everyone, and see how you're using AI in your projects.
Oh... and I'm currently babysitting a very opinionated budgie named Banana π¦, so I'll share a photo of him too! π Looking forward to learning with you all!

Elena,
Thank for sharing your FIFA world cup picture. I went to the one in Atlanta, GA. I had fun as well, the best part for me besides getting the BOA bracelet was seeing how all the fans from different countries celebrated their teams, the colors, chants, props, and signage.

Hey all - My name is Klaus and Iβm a trainer & coach (mostly in-person) as well as an instructional designer. Iβve been working for seven years at Commerz Direktservice, the service center of Commerzbank in Germany. Iβve been in the Training & Development field for almost 30 years, focusing on designing and delivering learning experiences and supporting people in their professional growth.
I live and work in Duisburg, in the Rhine-Ruhr region of Germany, but I love spending time in the mountains β especially in the Alps and Switzerland in late spring. I enjoy working both in the office and from home. At the moment I share my home office only with a few fish, after my cat Karlo had been my loyal companion there for 17 years.
I joined this AI Assistant Certification Cohort because I want to better understand how AI assistants can support learning, training, and customer service β and how to design meaningful, human-centered experiences around them. Iβm excited to learn from all of you and to see practical use cases and best practices.
Looking forward to connecting with you over the next two weeks!

Hi everyone! My name is Tonya, and I work in Dallas Texas. I work at a company that service and provides parts for semi-trucks. I am the Senior Instructional Designer, I primarily design and create training for both technical and soft skills for our field staff and corporate staff.
Since I am the only ID on our L&D team, I am eager to learn more about AI and how it can enhance my current workload. Iβm especially excited to explore practical ways AI can help me create better learning experiences while saving development time. Looking forward to learning alongside everyone and hearing how youβre using AI in your own roles!
I have no pets at this time... but I am a great puppy sitter to my nephew Ozzie.
My cat is an Ozzie too! Short for Osmanthus. I hope the cohort makes your team-of-one-ing easier!
