Hi everyone! My name is Gustavo Rueda, and Iβm based in Chicago, Illinois. I work as a Spanish Editor, where my day-to-day focuses on reviewing, editing, and refining Spanish-language content to ensure itβs accurate and engaging for audiences. A big part of my job is helping transform ideas into clear and effective communication while maintaining quality and consistency across projects.
I joined this AI Assistant Certification Cohort because Iβm excited about the growing role of AI in content creation, editing, and workplace productivity. Iβm hoping to gain a better understanding of how to work alongside AI tools more effectively, discover practical ways to incorporate them into my daily workflow, and learn from others who are exploring similar opportunities. Iβm looking forward to expanding my skills, exchanging ideas, and seeing how AI can help me work smarter and create even greater impact in my role.

I am Michael, an Instructional Designer for the FAA in Oklahoma City. I have been in this field for 20 + years. I joined this program because I want to understand the AI tools better. We were upgraded to having the tools in my office a few months ago. I have played with the tools a little but I have not fully comprehended the full power of these tools and how I can integrate/champion their use.

Hello everyone. My name is Tanya. Although I am based in Atlanta, Georgia...I am a true Philadelphian at heart. I absolutely love the city of Philadelphia, where I was born and raised!
I currently work as an Instructional Designer for Georgia Quick Start, a division of the Technical College System of Georgia. Our focus is on economic development through manufacturing training. As our industry is continually advancing, we have been recently incorporating the use of AI in our training modules. I am hoping to learn additional skills and gain advanced insights through this cohort.
Looking forward to interacting with you all.

Hi, I'm Leslie and am a Senior Training and Instructional Designer for a large health system in Richmond Va., but i live in eastern North Carolina. Our team would like to learn how to incorporate AI to improve our efficiency with development as we have a small team for a lot of material that is needed. I am including a picture of one of my pet Chickens, Mr. Ambrose, as i don't have any dogs or cats.

Hey Leslie, what a small world. I work in Richmond VA. My wife and I just spent the weekend at my brother-in-laws campground near Washington, NC. Spent most of our time on the boat. Eastern NC is a beautiful place. I am guessing Mr. Ambrose may not like having cats or dogs hanging around.

Hi! My name is Jazmyne and I am from Olympia, Washington. I work at WSECU, a local credit union. I am an Organizational Learning Specialist and design and develop training (both vILT and eLearning). I have been in a training role for the last 4.5 years, with the design and development only in the last 2 years, so I am still getting my feet under me and learning all the things. I am hoping to learn a lot about how AI can enhance the work that I am doing today and how to use it more effectively.
I have two fur babies: Our newest addition, Riot, who is 4 months old and Josie, who is almost 5 years old. :)
Welcome in Jazmyne, I hope the cohort can help you with the feeling of getting your feet under you. It can be a tough process to switch from the training side to design and development, even if it's more up your alley!
