Hello all! I am Scott McIlwain. I work for GP CPG at the Naheola Mill in Pennington, Alabama, as an L&D area manager, responsible for the Converting department. After 15+ years in production, I transitioned to L&D about 2 years ago. I was interested in creating more engaging learning solutions for my team, which led me to request permission to obtain an Articulate license. I taught myself to use Rise 360 because it was a bit easier. I am currently enrolled in the Master's in Instructional Technology program at The University of Alabama. I am wrapping up a class called "third-party tools". You guessed it.... Rise and Storyline were the tools of choice. This was a great introduction to Storyline. I'm looking forward to using it more going forward. In the Fall, I will take a class on AI for Instructional Design and Technology. If everything goes well, I will graduate in December. Looking forward to this Cohort. Using AI to design courses should be a great way to think through and create learning more efficiently. Sorry, no pets here.

Hi everyone! My name is Jen Gillus and I'm a Customer Solutions Optimization Specialist supporting GeorgiaāPacificās Consumer Products group. I focus on creating onboarding content that helps our new hires get comfortable with our systems and set up for success right from the start.
Iām always on the lookout for better and more engaging ways to present information, especially using AI, so learning is enjoyable, information sticks, and new hires feel confident when training wraps up. Iām really excited to start learning Storyline and canāt wait to incorporate it into our onboarding program!

Hello everyone, :)! My name is Scarlett; I'm so looking forward to the cohort. I am a long time Georgia-Pacific Muskogee mill employee and have worked in several different capacities. I started out with Articulate back in 2010/11, building training for our Poly Printing Department. Now, I am currently the L&D Training Administrator, I have used E-Learning off and on for quite some time, but until recently wasn't able to include Learning Software's in my daily schedule, but with my transition last year this has become almost a weekly or at least monthly opportunity to learn new skills. I utilize the Storyline AI Voice over function extensively as we have been adding voice to many of our traditional PowerPoint training. I want to learn how to use AI in more ways than just this to make our trainings more interactive and memorable.
We currently do not have any pets, but my logic behind this is "I Love going to the Beach" but where I am located in Oklahoma does not include a Beach :( so in order to not have to figure out accommodations for a fur baby, we are holding off with the pets or small farm animals. But if we ever get to "retire and relocate" to a beach area, I could see us getting another Toy (or at least small) Chihuahua. We had one for 17 years so, yes, we occasionally question the "Beach" limitation. - jessica_smlwdNew to the Community
Hi! I'm Jessica. I am an Immersive Learning Specialist at Leaf River Cellulose. I work with Matterport, creating training videos, instructional design, and I help create our computer-based training modules for the mill. I'm so excited to learn more about the AI tools available to us through this course! We have three pets at our house: a fish, a bearded dragon, and a German Shepherd. I couldn't find a decent picture of the fish or lizard, so here's our dog, Scout! She's my oldest son's very best friend.

Hello everyone! My name is Suzi Lee, and I am the Learning Experience & Designer Lead on the Koch L&D team. I'm super excited to be a part of this cohort, especially learning alongside all the various learning professionals across our organization. I work with several authoring tools, but Articulate Rise360 has definitely been a regular go-to!
I mainly work in the Georgia-Pacific building in Atlanta, but when I WFH, my two cats, Momo and Luna, are my work companions - although their idea of "work" is very different from mine. šø

Hello - I am Karen and I work for Molex ADS Division as our Training & Organizational Development Lead. Our division is new to Molex, and I am new to LMS content creation. We are iTAR and AS9100 certified, so our training needs are extensive, and compliance is at the forefront of all we do at ADS. I have dabbled in Articulate for several months but with my training and integration workload, I have been unable to fully immerse myself and learn the programs inner workings and offerings. This has become my Spring/Summer goal - dedicate more learning time to Articulate, so here I am :) I am excited to jump into this course and hopefully learn some new tips and meet some new people to network with and learn alongside. Having a network of support would be much appreciated, especially being new to Koch, this platform and its tools.
I have two dogs and three cats at home that keep me company when I work remote, however I also hybrid in-office - which is full of humans that require much more of my attention and are far more needy.

Hello! I am Kyle. I am a Training Specialist with FHR. My day-to-day consists of supporting our LMS for the Pipelines and Terminals group and developing content for our non-EHS Compliance systems. I also develop other content for a newsletter, our SharePoint sites, etc.
I've been dabbling with generating content with Gen AI for some time, so I'm hoping to learn some more "advanced" techniques with it. Maybe some workflows, how to obtain more consistent images (Character packs anybody?), or possible tips for how to leverage SME supplied content and using AI to build the slides exactly as provided without any additional "help" from the AI function.
We have several furry friends, but here are a couple of my favorites! - TammieFletchallCommunity Member
Hello and happy Friday! My name is Tammie Fletchall, and I am an HR Data & Systems Analysts for Flint Hills Resources. I am a native Kansan, but last year we moved to Georgia.
I am hoping to learn some tips and trick to assist me in completing my tasks efficiently and accurately, as well as keep current with the ever-changing world of AI and technology. My furry co-workers don't get much work done or help me stay on task. They play all morning and nap all afternoon. Diesel (left) likes chasing shadows and Athena (right) likes to lounge around on the front porch and chase squirrels.
Welcome to the cohort crew, TammieFletchallā! Those are some beautiful furry co-workers you have!
