Hi All!
I'm Liz, an eLearning Developer at Merck. I have the luxury of working with designers who put the course content together, then I get to just play in the tools all day and come up with ideas for making the content interactive and sticky.
I too am here to upskill in AI, looking for practical skills to accelerate development, new tips and tricks, best practices for leveraging AI to reduce errors, and heighten the quality of courses.
My loyal interns help me problem solve, but AI might be faster and require less cat food. - GraceMSHCommunity Member
Hey, I'm Grace, and I work as a designer in the DC metro area. In my day-to-day work, I produce content across multiple domains: instructional design, print, web, video, immersive media, interface and experience design, etc. My eLearning journey here started with the original Articulate Storyline in 2013, and it's been fun ever since!
I joined this cohort to learn more about advanced capabilities the AI Assistant may offer. I can create the objectives, outlines, layouts, and media assets, but what else can I do to take the learning experiences further beyond the defaults? I'm hoping to learn how I can leverage the AI Assistant to do more with JavaScript and complex interactions in Storyline but also see where it can lighten efforts like estimating durations for custom-developed modules in Storyline/Rise or creating transcripts (not captions) for embedded media.

Its mother stands in the background, looking off into the distance. My dog has a sixth sense when it comes to getting her photo taken and she looks away, so please accept this photo of an adorable baby cow I saw on a trip to England. 😍
Welcome in, GraceMSH! It sounds like you have quite a bit of experience with our AI tools already! I'm excited to hear your perspective on the features over the next couple of weeks.
We will gladly accept your photo of Zoro, the baby cow. What a fluffy guy!

Hello Cohortians. My name is Sheri and I’m north-east of Atlanta, Georgia. I’m an instructional designer and accessibility professional working in the public sector, where I design, review, and remediate learning experiences for a workforce of ~9,000 employees.
Most of my day-to-day focuses on building courses and analyzing how learning actually works (or breaks) in the real world. This includes accessible Storyline/Rise design to PDF remediation and testing with keyboard, screen readers, and cognitive load in mind.
I also support teams through consulting engagements focused on scaling accessible learning systems across content, workflows, and platforms.
I joined this cohort to explore how we can leverage AI to move faster and build better.
Specifically, I’m here to explore:
- Where AI helps vs. where it falls short especially with accessibility
- How to validate AI-generated learning for accessibility
- Identify where AI meaningfully supports design and where it introduces risk
- Build practical workflows that combine AI + accessibility + real-world constraints
My goal is to leave this cohort with ideas I can build on for repeatable, scalable approaches that hold up beyond a single course or tool.
If anyone else is exploring AI + accessibility together, I’d love to connect during the cohort.
Max is in doggy heaven, but he lives on in my heart . This is a picture of him after a full day playing outside. 😴

SheriLee Would love to connect on accessibility! I'm also a developer and accessibility professional for Traliant always looking to learn and improve in that space. Are you on LinkedIn? MJ Kieffer Morishita | LinkedIn

Hi all. My name is Marc Donelson and I'm based in Charlotte, NC. I work for Charter Communications (aka Spectrum) in their learning space. I recently moved out of leading a curriculum design team into a new role that is focused on leveraging and adoption of AI across our Talent Development teams and in assisting our other learning teams best use various AI tools.
I joined the cohort because most of our learning teams use Rise and Storyline so I want to better understand the AI capabilities within each tool. I'm looking forward to learning from all of you.
Here is my work/play bud Kaiser (20-month-old German Shepherd). It took me longer to choose which picture of him to share than it did to write my introduction. #priorities- PamelaKiefer-dbCommunity Member
Hi Marc & Kaiser! I'm in Western NC too! Nice to virtually meet you.
Welcome to the group, MarcDonelson-01. You are absolutely in the right place to learn more about the AI capabilities within Rise and Storyline.
I'm sure you've got your hands full with a 20-month old GSD! The puppy teenager phase is real 🤪 how's training going?

Hello All! My name in George Billings and I am based in Phoenix, AZ. I work for ROIS CDMO in Knowledge Management. I do a lot of curriculum and content creation for our site as well as some Project Management on the side.
I joined this Cohort to get a better understanding of the capabilities of Articulate AI as time savings is always appreciated!
These are my cats Chad and Cole:
Glad to have you with us, GeorgeBillings! Please tell us more about the black and white cat's cool fur-style!

Hi everyone! I’m Kimberly, and I’m based outside of Cincinnati. I work as an Instructional Designer, where I spend most of my time creating learning experiences for banks and credit unions. My focuses are designing training content, building videos and resources, and working with subject matter experts to figure out how to make products easier to understand and adopt.
I joined the Cohort because I’m interested in how AI can support day‑to‑day work, especially in content creation and learning design. I’m hoping to pick up tips and ideas I can use right away to work smarter and improve what I create.
Annie and Rosco are my two at home "coworkers" who love to sun and bark at anything trespassing in their yard.

Welcome KimberlyAllen-b
I love all animals, but Dashies have a special place in my heart. I got one former Dashie and current Dashie mix from rescues specific to the breed.❤️😍 - PamelaKiefer-dbCommunity Member
Annie and Rosco are so CUTE! I used to have a pair of doxies myself. I also grew up in Ohio and my family works at one of the Credit Unions there. So much in common already. It's so nice to virtually meet you!
So happy you joined us, KimberlyAllen-b! Do you find yourself gravitating towards Rise or Storyline to create your learning experiences?
Also are Annie and Rosco siblings? They're almost identical!
- dsdcruzeCommunity MemberMy void, Gerard (named after the poet Gerard Manley Hopkins), "helping" me with a Christmas present last year.
Hello, my name is Debbie and I am located in Atlanta, GA. I work for Emory Healthcare as an Instructional Designer and LMS Administrator for our Patient Access training program. I'm currently creating a course in Storyline 360 (my first!) and ensuring our learners are properly enrolled within their Reach 360 courses.
Because I create courses and admin our LMS, it made sense to take this AI certification program. I am hoping it will provide me with the resources and knowledge to complete my daily work efficiently and offload some of the mental load.I already have familiarity with prompt engineering, but knowing what the Articulate AI is capable of doing ahead of time will be extremely helpful in minimizing frustration with the tool.
Additionally, I am the mother to a spicey void. He loves to be my little cuddle buddy and shadow (I work from home so he's often with me during the day), but not a big fan of anyone else. He can be temporarily won over by treats.
Hi dsdcruze so glad you're here! And congratulations on creating your first Storyline training! How's it going for you so far?
Gerard is a handsome fellow and seems to take his job of crochet quality control very seriously! 😄

Hello Everyone,
My name is Ashley Phillips, it's nice to meet all of you! My background is in retail sales, manufacturing, and distribution but I decided to make the jump into ID, so I got my MS in LTD and have been working as sole/Lead ID within the hospitality industry for the past 3 years. Our company recently purchased Articulate's AI upgrade, so I'm excited to learn tips and tricks for effective use to save time without sacrificing quality!
Again, it's nice to meet all of you, looking forward to learning and growing together!
Cheers,
Ashley
