Hello! My name is Cindy Owen, Talent Manager for Elara Caring. I am based out of Michigan and oversee our new team member onboarding across 18 states and manage the day-to-day activities for the LMS. We often add custom courses to our LMS so excited to learn more about AI generated courses.
Hi Cindy! So glad you're here and learning with us. How long do you have for turnaround on the custom courses? I hope the AI tools increase the ease of making them.

The AI tools have been amazing!!! In most cases, we have a good amount of time for turnaround on custom courses however we do have cases where a quick turnaround would be necessary. The AI tools have made this so much easier!

Hi Everyone!
My name is Jake Whiteford and I am located in south central Pennsylvania. I work with the Innovations Institute at the University of Connecticut School of Social Work. Our work focuses on supporting the workforce in child-, youth-, and family-serving public systems. I am the instructional designer for our organization, which means I create the asynchronous online training modules that we produce for our partners. My day-to-day is made up mostly of working in Storyline (and occasionally Rise) to create modules from either PPT or a Word script and all of the steps in that process through to publishing files for our LMS. We are already using the AI assistant for voiceover/captions and I have used it occasionally to generate images (though our team's Shutterstock account still gets most of that work). I've also used it in Rise to generate a course from a Word doc. I'd like to learn what I'm not using and also ideally how to use AI assistant to create Java Script triggers that will liven up my modules. Learning Java to do this has been on my "to do" list for years, but I never had the time to learn it. I'm hoping that this will be a nice shortcut. In terms of pets...we have so many. We have three cats, three dogs, and a horse (who unfortunately does not live at the house, though I wish we had a farm so he could). Since his "gotcha day" was on Sunday, I'll share a photo of our boy cat, Chester.

Welcome to the cohort, Jake! You are in the right place and it sounds like you have a head start with already using the AI Assistant. You will be able to share what is working for you now and learn some new enhancements as well. We are excited to begin!

Hi Friends,
I'm really excited to meet you all and get to know you over the next couple of weeks. My name is Kevin Stefano and I am a Senior L&D Strategist for Experian in Nashville TN. I spend my time working closely with clients, introducing them to eLearning and trying to integrate this new type of learning with their existing educational programs. Due to my work demands I don't have a pet at the current time.
I am really excited about the prospect of AI and how to integrate it appropriately and responsibly into our existing curriculum to elevate the interactivity and enhance the learning experience. Good times ahead!

Welcome KarlaWatson and how wonderful that you have been with Articulate from the beginning! You will have much to add to the cohort, and we hope that you will share your insights and experience. What do you like best about designing in Articulate?

Hello everyone. My name is Brad Parker and I am an Instructional Designer from WSU Tech (Wichita State University Campus of Applied Sciences and Technology). My job is primarily to support the faculty and staff here at the college to transform their course materials into a dynamic online resource for their students as well as help them to deliver the material in the course in the best way possible. I am a former teacher, so helping first time teachers learn how to present the material is also a big part of my job.
I joined this cohort because I am interested in expanding my Articulate abilities. I have used Rise360 and Storyline360 over the last 5 years, but I would like to learn more about the whole platform of tools available, especially AI Assistant.
I have a number of creatures roaming the halls of my home. We have 2 dogs, Solo (black lab) and Rosie (Vizsla mix) as well as 3 cats, Pickle, Dulce, and Churro. Here are a few snaps.- TaylorSakinsky-Peer Guide
Welcome to the cohort, Brad (and the cutest fur babies!). I'm also a former teacher turned ID! We're excited to have you here to expand your knowledge and capabilities with Articulate!

Good Morning!
My name is Emily Hartley. I work as a Learning and Development Consultant for Morley Companies, a diverse Business Process Outsourcing company. My day-to-day includes crafting e-learning for both synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences, managing the system and facilitating virtual instructor led training sessions.
I am located in Bay City, MI, with my snuggle bug pictured below.
I joined this cohort as way to ensure that I am making my Learning and Development a priority, and to learn something new. The desire for growth, learning and development has risen exponentially within Morley throughout the past few years and I hope that I can find some tips and tricks to shorten the time it takes to get an e-learning course to production, while still maintaining standards.- lane_jacolePeer Guide
Welcome, Emily! Have you used any of the AI assistant features in Articulate before? Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

Hi all, my name is Nolan and I'm an instructional designer based in southern New Hampshire. I've worked as part of a training team for the past few years to help educate professionals on digital data protection internationally.
I joined this cohort to help increase my comfort level with Articulate's AI assistant specifically. I was part of my team's initial introduction of the AI assistant and have enjoyed using it, but having the knowledge this cohort will provide will help all of us develop that much better of a product. I'm excited to strengthen my skillset and put a lot of this to use.
Sadly, I don't have any pets at home. Our dog, Basil, now lives with my partner's mother, and we recently moved to an apartment with some restrictions around pets. We're hoping to adopt a dog soon!
Hey Nolan, so glad you could join us! I hope that what you learn with the cohort helps increase the comfort of your team.
Is Basil named after the plant, or the Rathbone?- NolanCollins-a4Community Member
Thank you! He's named after the plant; his whole litter had names of pizza toppings.
