Hi, all. I'm Jen and I work as an instructional designer for a non-profit organization in New Hampshire.
I've worked with Storyline and Rise since 2018 and have been using the AI Assistant in Rise a bit so far, but I think there many capabilities I'm not taking advantage of. So I think this will be a good opportunity to learn from others and have some dedicated time to work on it. Thank you for this opportunity!
Our pet is a 6 yo bunny, Willow.- TaylorSakinsky-Peer Guide
Welcome, Jen! (and Willow, of course 🐇). I hope you're pleasantly surprised with the AI features in both Rise and Storyline! After being a part of the cohort myself, I was able to immediately apply the tools to my daily workload. I look forward to seeing what your takeaways are!

That's great to hear. Thank you, Taylor!

Hi, everyone! My name is Ian and I'm based in western Connecticut, USA. I am the Training Manager for the North America sales region at Thule, a manufacturer of consumer products for active families and outdoor enthusiasts. Along with two colleagues, our team designs and delivers product training for Thule's retail partners globally, as well as customer & consumer facing teams internally.
We've used Rise 360 for the past 6 years to author product training and, more recently, corporate compliance content for our LMS, Thule Academy. Our small team is responsible for developing training across 25+ product categories, so we're constantly looking for ways to create high-quality courses and microlearnings more efficiently. I'm eager to learn best practices for incorporating AI Assistant into my daily workflow in Rise and how to leverage the feature as a novice Storyline user.

Welcome, Ian! This cohort sounds like just the right place for you and your workload! You'll see the incredible AI features in both platforms, which you'll be able to implement in your daily work immediately.

Hi! I am Cherise George. I work for Charles River Laboratories in Charleston, SC. I work in a remote role as the Training Manager. I have been with the company for 16 years. I am looking to increase my skill set within Articulate and use it as best as possible to make training content more engaging and valuable.
My 4-month-old puppy Busby keeps me company during the work day!
Congratulations on 16 years with your organization, cmf29443! Have you been in training the entire time? The industry has changed so much over the years!
Also, Busby is adorable. Not sure how you get any work done during the day with that cute face starring at you!

Good day everyone!
My name is Hector Nogueras, and I’m located in Kingsport, Tennessee.
I work for TEC Industrial Maintenance & Construction as the Training Manager, where my day-to-day work focuses on building and improving training programs for our field craft, supervisors, safety needs, and leadership development.
I joined this AI Assistant Certification Cohort because I want to better understand how to use AI to improve training development.
I’m hoping to leave the cohort with stronger hands-on skills and practical ideas that I can use!

Hi everyone!
My name is Stefanie Kirshner. I am located in Dallas, Texas. I work for McLane Company (food and retail supply chain distribution) as a Training and Development Specialist. In that role, I coordinate onsite trainings for the teammates in our distribution centers as well as use Articulate to design training to improve performance in using our various transportation systems.
I joined this cohort to help myself build an "AI state of mind" as I build courses. I have an understanding of the basics of AI Assistant, but I tend to think through more simple options versus outside of the box ideas that AI Assistant could do. I'm hoping to finish the cohort with a stronger tendency to lean into the power of AI in course building!
Hey Stefanie! I grew up near Dallas, I hope you're having a mild start to the summer.
Your goal of having a workflow more attuned to AI options is a great one, I'd love to know at the end of the cohort what tools you think you'll reach for more!

👋 everyone! My name is Lee Millard, and I live in the greater Indianapolis area (moved here 7 years ago from PA). I work at Butler University (go Bulldogs!) and am the Lead Interactive Media Designer for our Online Education and Educational Technology team. My background is in fine/digital art and instructional design. I love doing anything creative, whether it's digital or analog.
I am excited to dive deeper into the AI tools that Articulate has to offer and learn how my team can harness them more in our day-to-day processes.
Attached are photos of our animal family members: Oaken, our goldendoodle, and our bumblebee dart frogs.
And since some are posting cheers for their NHL team, I'll just say QUACK! QUACK! QUACK!Hi there LeeMillardButlr so glad you're here! With your background, I'm so curious to see the course design you come up with in the final project of this cohort.
Also, Oaken is an absolute star, and those bumblebee dart frogs are so cool!

Adorable! And love the bumblebee dart frogs--first I have heard of them! I want some!

My college-aged son wants to get dart frogs! Any words of wisdom to share as he gets set up?

Hi everyone!
My name is Ashley Allegretti, and I’m based in Long Island, NY. I’m an Instructional Designer at Flagstar Bank, where I’ve spent the last nearly seven years designing and developing training content and learning experiences that support employees across the organization.
I joined the AI Assistant Certification Cohort because I’m eager to learn how AI can enhance learning design, accelerate content development, and enable more personalized learning experiences. I am hoping to learn how to use the AI features in Rise and Storyline more effectively and realistically in my day-to-day work, and hoping to pick up practical ways to speed up development, improve content, and design more engaging learning experiences. I’m also really looking forward to learning from all of you and sharing ideas along the way!

Hello fine folks:
I live in Myrtle Beach, SC. Started in "eLearning" in the early 90s when it was "CBT" ...
I've had my own eLearning consulting company since 2001. I've used all versions of Storyline and early with Rise. Great tools!
I'm expanding AI skills, as we all should be doing.
I don't have any pets, but I have 10 guitars that have never pooped on the floor once! ;)
Welcome, MarkSteiner ! Starting back in the CBT days and still going strong! Now that's a career to be proud of. And I have to say, "10 guitars that have never pooped on the floor" might be the best pet alternative I've ever heard. 😂 Glad you're here!

Hi, my name is Jaime Pisko, and I am a Staff Development Specialist for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. I'm very fortunate to be in a role where I can help our personnel learn and grow. I create and deploy annual and on-demand educational content for personnel and I thoroughly enjoy taking a blank lesson and creating something engaging and informative at the end!
I live just outside of Scranton, PA (Home of The Office!), and I am blessed with an amazing husband, two wonderful girls, a dog, 3 cats, a fish, and 12 chickens! That many pet pictures would crash the site, so just picture a small farm and you got it! 😊
Looking forward to working with everyone, and I am excited to learn more about AI.
Hey Jamie, so glad you could join the cohort! What's your favorite tactic to make a course engaging?
A small farm sounds about right! I'd love to keep chickens one day.- JaimePiskoCommunity Member
Thanks MaryEmma! I love sprinkling in a wide variety of interactive components, from flash cards to sorting activities, videos and small knowledge checks. I try not to repeat within the same lesson to keep it new and fresh.

Hi everyone, I'm a L+D Specialist at Everwise Credit Union, in South Bend, Indiana. My training is in Instructional Design and I love learning new tips and tricks to make eLearning courses more engaging and impactful. My day to day varies between creating on demand courses and facilitating training both ILT and VILT. Recently I been working on moving some of our in-person training classes to VILT courses and using storyline to create interactive and gamified elements to use in those courses to keep engagement up in the virtual environment. Here's my very furry guy Timber.
- lane_jacolePeer Guide
Hi Lynee, welcome! I am so intrigued by your use of Storyline to make those engagement elements for the VILT environment! I'm interested to see which AI assistant tool you'll find most beneficial in that process.
