Hello from Chicago! I'm Alexandra Mustafa and currently working as an instructional design consultant for Southern California Edison. After 15+ years in learning and development, I'm looking forward to learning how AI can improve/support the design process and reduce development time. How can I harness AI to be a powerful design assistant?

Hello everyone!
I'm Rafael, based in Brazil. I was born and live in Campinas, São Paulo. I'm an instructional designer working for Thomson Reuters. I develop e-learning courses, graphic design, and video editing. I'm interested in learning more about AI functionality to help speed up the e-learning creation process.
This is our rescued dog called Fubá!- TaylorSakinsky-Peer Guide
Happy to have you here, Rafael! With video editing in your role, have you had a chance to try out the AI narration for voiceovers on videos?!

Hi all! I am a Corporate Trainer for Compass Health Network in Willard, MO. I am new to Articulate and getting oriented to it, and with AI so I'm hoping this course will be a way to fast track the learning curve.

Welcome alhunt and glad you joined the cohort! Being new to Articulate you will surely see great ways to implement the AI Assistant in the training you develop. The activities are just the right size to help you digest and apply what you learn. Which do you prefer to design in, Rise or Storyline?

Hi all - My name is Evan Kalway, I'm a Senior Learning Developer at Roche Diagnostics in Indianapolis, Indiana. I'm on a team of three developers that create content for a number of audiences, but largely focused on technical content and sales-support content. I've been using Storyline for ~12 years and it is my favorite authoring tool to work in.
We have a very high-volume workload and not always the most generous timelines for development. With this in mind, I'm very interested in finding the best use cases to maximize workflow using the new tools. Also, to add some high value interactivity in a short time.
The big one is Karate, the little one is Millie. They are both snoring very loudly as I type this.

Awww, the sweet spot of sun!
Welcome, EvanKalway1 ! I really enjoyed meeting your team in the training I recently delivered to you all! Wow, 12 years in Storyline--you might be one of the most seasoned folks in this cohort! What was the first version of Storyline you used, 1 or 2? Also Karate and Millie found the perfect sun spot. 😎

Hi Karate and Millie, and of course, you too, Evan! Excited to have you three on board! Storyline is by FAR my favorite tool as well - this cohort gave me so many more reasons to love it. I can't wait to hear what features you're excited about!

Hi everyone, my name is Dirk and my official title is "Digital Learning Expert" at Carglass Germany. Building digital courses (from scratch) is part of my job description, but for the most part I focus on the processes and systems surrounding them.
I joined the cohort to live up to my job title, create better e-learning courses (hello, imposter syndrome 😉), and systematically build the skills needed to make the most of AI features on course design.
My “colleagues” and I live and work near Cologne (Germany), and we are really looking forward to the next two weeks with you all.

Great to meet you DirkE and colleagues. Hopefully, the water bottle on your desk is decorative rather than functional (for aches and pains). 😅 Your goals will surely be realized and then some. We look forward to growing together. Welcome to the cohort!

Hi everyone,
Nice to digitally meet you! I'm a Learning Designer for Springer Nature based in London. I manage the technical build and maintenance of our online courses so I'm excited to see how the AI Assistant can help expedite our workflows! We've had the Assistant for a while and have played around with it but hoping to get an idea of the full capacity of the tool and pick up some handy tips to use in every day course building 😃
I unfortunately don't have a fluff of my own so am introducing you to my puppy niece instead, who is now 500x bigger than she is here.
Looking forward to seeing you all on the course!
Rachael

Hello RachMason and welcome! Wonderful that you hope to put the AI Assistant to work. This cohort is designed to share knowledge, so you have come to the right place. We look forward to your insights and questions in the coming weeks.

I'm Amelia, based in South Wales (UK), a Senior Learning Designer/L&D Partner for a small business who focuses on data driven change. I spend my day-to-day creating learning within Rise (interactive induction packs, toolkits), Storyline (system walkthrough and demos), managing and curating learning on the LMS, and also consulting on learning solutions.
I joined this cohort to simply get better at using the AI Assistant and be able to utilise it to it's full potential. We're a small team so time savings are really great for us.
Attached are my beautiful Sushi Taweret (left) and Khonshu Bean (right) who like to interrupt my work, Khonshu especially likes lying on the keyboard 😂. - obiwanpinobiCommunity Member
Hi everyone! My name is Pilar, and I currently live in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. At the end of this month, I’m moving back to my home state of Florida after 14 years abroad, so I’m expecting a bit of culture shock, but all in good fun.
I’ve spent most of my 17-year career in logistics working in the L&D space in various roles, most recently as an instructional designer. We’re also bringing our 7-year-old dog, Lulu, with us to Florida. She appears unimpressed by most things in life, but is actually pretty laid-back.
I’m excited to learn new things and grow my skills through this AI Assistant Certification!

Hi Pilar! Best of luck with your move and hope it all goes smoothly. Do you think Lulu will appreciate the summer Florida heat? Happy to be here and learn alongside you!

Hello everyone! My name is Ernie, and I’m an Instructional Designer based in the Philippines, currently working for a US-based telecommunications company.
I joined this cohort to connect with fellow designers and exchange best practices for creating Memorable, Meaningful, Motivational, and Measurable eLearning experiences. I’m particularly excited to explore how AI can act as a "thinking partner" to level up my design and development workflow.
Sidekick update: I’m joined today by my dogs, Goldy and Malaya, who’s keeping me company while I learn!- lane_jacolePeer Guide
Welcome, Ernie! Everything about that top view looks amazing! Looking forward to seeing which AI assistant tools will be your preferred workflow partner.

Hello Everyone!
Hope you are all having a lovely day. 🌺🐝
I am a kindergarten teacher (BA) / curriculum developer (MA). I have learned to use Articulate Storyline when I was pregnant, I wanted to learn something new. I have used all my e-mail addresses to be able to use the trial versions. Hahaha. Now I am an Instructional Designer at Thermo Fisher Scientific. :O How cool is that? :) I am here to learn more about how to utilize AI in my everyday work. Thank you for this great opportunity. 💕
Kind regards,
Éva, from a small village in Hungary- lane_jacolePeer Guide
Hi Eva, and welcome! As a former educator myself, I truly understand that switch. It's been such a great career move for me personally. And at this time with all the growth and availability of AI tools....it feels like the timing couldn't be any better to jump in and learn new things right alongside everyone else!
