Hello everyone!
My name is Kaci Roper, and Iām a Senior Learning Experience Designer at OneTrust from Greenville, SC.
I design and build engaging eLearning experiences that help customers and partners use our products successfully. My work includes collaborating with subjectāmatter experts, designing learning journeys, and creating interactive content like videos, scenarios, and modules then refining courses based on feedback and performance data.
I joined this cohort to build my skills in using AI more effectively. AI is widely used at OneTrust, and our team builds courses in Articulate Rise. Iām especially interested in leveraging AI to create faster, more effective eLearning experiences that better support our learners.

Hi Kaci, welcome to the cohort! Peyton looks like such a good pupper! The AI Assistant is really powerful in Rise; I think you're going to learn some cool new tricks in the next couple weeks!

Hello Everyone! A little late getting started, but I'm so happy to be here, I'm Amber!
I am located near Denver, Colorado, and I am lucky to work from home as a Process Improvement Consultant IV, where most of my work is being super creative in solving requests for assistance in refreshing to new technology, streamlining current and new processes, solving for reporting needs and building content for learning about all those things plus supporting our learning and development team.
I joined this cohort to learn about and leverage the new AI Assistant as I am about to jump into gamifying our onboarding process and would really like it to be super interactive, engaging, professional and fun.
This is my best buddy, Poncho, who we adopted last August. He just had his first birthday and is the sweetest. A terrier pit-bull mix that is goofy, loving, cuddly, calm, and an emotional support companion to my son.

Hello Everyone!
My name is Jackie and I am located at Sacramento, CA. I currently work at California Civil Rights Department (CRD) as an Instructional Designer and LMS Administrator (Cornerstone).
Day-to-day: I create, design, and develop courses mainly internally for our investigators who handles cases regarding their civil rights. An example course is How to De-escalate via In-person and Virtually. We are fairly a new team of 4-5 for the entire department but I love my team and I can't ask for a better department. One of the greatest things about being an ID at this department is learning what SMEs do and how they make a difference within our department and statewide.
Why did I joined: I want to learn more about AI and how it can help me create courses. I hope to learn from others on how they utilize AI in their courses and/or day-to-day work. One of the greatest ways is to learn from others so I am excited to see what we all can bring together!
Bonus: no pets, but I do have plant babies that are near death due to my lack of care and sunlight. Pray for them š±

Hello! My name is Carrianne, and I'm a Design & Delivery Consultant V (instructional designer) for Kaiser Permanente. I help build people development digital learning experiences (eLearning, video, SharePoint sites) for our CA Sales & Account Management team. I'm happily located in the San Francisco Bay Area.
What I most love about instructional design is that I'm always learning something new, whether about a new product or a new software feature. I remember taking a class on the vintage version of Storyline almost two decades ago, so it's incredible to see new and exciting features launched on a regular basis. I have been using Articulate AI features in both Storyline and Rise, but I have a feeling that I'm not taking advantage of everything it has to offer. I'm excited to participate.
Here's a picture of our cat, Tatsu. She pretends not to know her name most of the time, but she sure does know the word for treat.

Hi Carrianne, welcome to the cohort! What a sweet furbaby! I agree, I'm always learning something new--it's one of my favorite things about this field! I think over these next couple weeks you'll get a better grasp of what the AI assistance can fully do; I know I did!

Hi everyone! Iām Claudia, based in Bucharest, Romania. I work as an eLearning designer at a tech company, designing and managing digital learning programs, mostly eLearning courses and interactive components, to help our teams learn complex topics in a clear, engaging way.
I joined this AI Assistant Certification Cohort to get much better at using AI as a true learning design partner, especially for drafting content, generating interactive ideas, and improving workflows for our learners.
I live with Pickle, who is either meowing for attention or fast asleep with zero in-between. Iām attaching a photo of him so you can āmeetā him too.

Hi everyone! Iām Kandiace, currently based between Indiana and Germany depending on the season. I work at Vituity, where I focus on learning strategy, systems, and making complex things easier for people to actually use. My title matters less than the day-to-day: solving messy problems, improving learning experiences, translating ideas into action, and helping teams move from āthis is confusingā to āthis actually works.ā A surprising amount of my work involves asking better questions before building anything.
I joined this AI Assistant Certification Cohort because AI feels more like a literacy shift. I want to sharpen practical skills, learn smarter workflows, and better understand how to use AI as a true thinking partner instead of just a faster search engine. Iām especially interested in systems, creativity, productivity, and how AI can reduce friction without reducing humanity.
Bonus pet intro: I donāt currently have a pet living with me full-time, but I do a fair amount of pet sitting. Which means I get the emotional benefits of dogs without the long-term negotiations over furniture ownership. Probably the greatest modern compromise. š¶

Hi Kandiace, welcome to the cohort! I like your idea of AI feeling like a literacy shift, that's a good way to describe it. I have definitely found the AI assistant is a great thinking partner and I'm sure you will too! I look forward to seeing your thoughts next week. š

Hello everyone! I am an Instructional Designer and mostly work for Storyline. As I work with clients all over the world, most of my projects are translated into various languages. The biggest challenges I face occurs after importing the translated file. Sometimes, translators change the XML tags which makes the file unusable.
In this cohort session , I am looking forward to learn using AI for localization to address the translation issues.
Apart from that there many new Smart AI features have been added to Rise and Storyline to build courses faster and effectively.
Unfortunately, I don't have any pet nowadays so not posting any picture. But I love dogs and loving all the pictures posted here. - JodyWCommunity Member
Hello! My name is Jody Williams. I am an Instructional Designer from north Georgia where I live on an old family farm. We raise Boer goats and honeybees. I've been an Instructional Designer for the almost 10 years and currently work as an ID with Brightspeed. I look forward to learning more about Articulate!

Hi everyone! š
Iām Marleigh, based in Harrisburg Pennsylvania. Iām an ATD-certified eLearning Instructional Designer with the Commonwealth. On a typical day, youāll find me building web-based trainings and virtual instructor-led sessions, juggling Rise and Storyline, and trying to turn āmandatory trainingā into something people actually want to click through (a bold mission, I know š).
I joined this AI Assistant Certification Cohort because Iām hoping to sharpen my skills, learn smarter ways to use AI for design and development, and borrow ššgreat ideas from all of you.
š¦“š¦“ Iāve got an American Akita named Ace who serves as my full-time quality assurance supervisor. His main qualifications include constantly shedding an incredible amount of hair all over the work area and demanding breaks at highly inconvenient moments š¾
Excited to be here and learn with everyone!
Hey Marleighā! I'd love to know what sort of techniques you reach for to make mandatory trainings more interesting.
Ace is so cute!! My cats also mostly offer QA in the form of shedding ridiculous amount of hair š
