Hi, here is the link to my course: https://share.articulate.com/PEEDGeTIjiEI5iRtqaN4a
The most valuable AI feature was the instant convert by far. It saves so much time. I had never used this before so seeing how fast it could switch up the interaction type was amazing. The only challenge to utilizing AI features is in finding which icon or button to select where. But once it was shown in the tutorial, it was as easy as finding the button and clicking on it. I was able to customize the images using the AI prompt, changed the feedback type of the quiz to be specific to the choice selected, and formatted steps of the block to make it more clear. Thanks for taking the time to check it out.

Hi there! I liked your vibrant pictures. I also saw that you used many different block styles so you must have used the AI block covert a number of times. I loved the key takeaways at the end with the AI audio as well. One suggestion would be to add more AI images to practice generating good prompts and discovering styles.
Completely agree Angela, the instant convert is so helpful. I've noticed it helps me not pick the same few blocks I lean towards, since I can test others out! Have you gotten to use it much in your work?

Is anyone having trouble getting this example prompt to work?: "Change color of bold words to #1977dc." This would save my team a lot of time, but it doesn't work on my computer with either Chrome or Edge. (All other prompts have been working for me.)
- Tina_Community Member
HeatherThomas-9 I have an issue with this too. Just tried again and still no change.
Rise is SaaS so we can't update it. It isn't like Storyline where we have to manually accept and update.
I also just tried the new Labs option (it wasn't there yesterday in my account, so very new) - 'Update Content with AI' which will Edit text across a course from one place. Ask in the chat to update wording, adjust the tone, or find and replace terms. Some block types and text areas aren't supported yet. This will save loads of time to be able to bulk update.
It doesn't change the colour though, I tried that! - JodiVanDrunenCommunity Member
I noticed some hexes do not work as well.
- SusanWhalen0822Peer Guide
I just tried to change bold words within a block in Rise to the blue hex you suggested, and it worked for me. I wonder if you have the latest Rise 360 installed?

- The original draft was fairly engaging, but I changed the cover photo to be more diverse, some other photos throughout, added audio where applicable, and added a quiz.
- I used the image generator often and tried to use bullets and be more concise, as this is highly used in my organization.
- Sometimes the generator didn't apply colors appropriately when prompted and images are hard to generate exactly what you want sometimes.
Thank you! 😃

1. Share 3 changes you made:
Added AI audio at the start of each lesson.
Added a summary at the end of each lesson.
Added AI generated images / Convert to interactive elements.
2. Which AI feature or capability was most valuable
I LOVED the ability to copy text and change tone instantly.
3. What challenges:
Sometimes I forgot where to look for each AI assistant tool.

I made several changes. I wanted to try out some of the things I haven't before, including:
- AI image comparisons by style
- Adding a hook
- Adding AI audio
- Love the instant converter
- Updating a lot of text heavy blocks to interactive blocks (accordion, timeline, flashcards)
When it comes to the most useful feature, it has to be the outline and general creation. Starting a course is always daunting for me, so having it create a skeleton I can fill in is so so helpful!
The most challenging aspect was/is prompt creation and reiteration, but that's true for nearly all AI tools. At least it's easy through Articulate!

I have a question about the Week 2 activity, I can't get changing the color of the text to work. I have tried different color codes, different text and I can't see to get it to work. Each time, it remains the default black color.
- HeatherThomas-9Community Member
I had the same problem!
- ShannonRichCommunity Member
RachelStoics256 I've had the same problem. I tried with both the AI block tools and Edit with AI options, but could not find a solution either.
- AlyssaGomezStaff
Hi ShannonRich, RachelStoics256, and HeatherThomas-9, I also ran into the same issue with changing the color of the text. I suspect the AI text editor changed sometime between when we recorded that tutorial video and today. I'll look into it, and thanks so much for bringing this up!

- 3 changes: I changed all the images to a custom style that I created after watching this week's videos. I had a lot of fun coming up with custom styles and I now have a Rise image prompt library with some cool image prompts. For this particular one I was going for a retro 70s cartoon style, similar to the Rankin-Bass Hobbit cartoon.
I added a sorting activity and generated instructions using AI.
I built the quiz at the end using AI.
I added in a reflection block with AI speech. - Which AI feature or capability was most valuable: As I mentioned above, playing with the image generation prompts is going to be very valuable going forward. I've only been using the built-in prompts and those have started to look a little same-y so it's a game-changer to be able to dial in my image styles to makes something really custom and bespoke.
- Challenges: I had some challenges getting the right tone with the AI written text. My sweet spot for course text is friendly and casual, but still professional. It took a few attempts to get something I was happy with and I want to play with the prompts further to see if I can come up with something that really threads that needle.

I like the images you used and that they all related to each other, style-wise and everything. I'd add color to certain blocks to help it not be so white everywhere.

You did a great job with the art style! I really like it - it's giving me close to Ghibli vibes.

Hi AlyssaGomez and SusanWhalen0822
Thank you for the guidance and looking for options for us. Please find the Web export of my output attached as a zip file.
Share 3 changes you made to the Rise AI Course Draft to improve learner engagement.
- Enhanced Interactivity: Used the 'Instant Convert' feature to transform static text blocks into interactive elements, such as sorting activities. I also refined the content (with AI) to eliminate 'walls of text' and improve readability.
- Multimodal Reflection: Integrated AI-generated audio into the 'Reflect' sections at the end of each module to cater to different learning styles and encourage deeper engagement.
- Comprehensive Wrap-up & Polishing: Added a final quiz and a 'Key Takeaways' summary. I also applied custom branding (colors and fonts) to ensure the course looks professional and cohesive.
Which AI feature or capability was most valuable ?
- The most valuable feature was the AI’s ability to build out a comprehensive first draft while still allowing me full control over the outline and direction. The initial phase of working with tons of resources is often the most daunting part of course creation; having a structured foundation to work from was a significant time-saver.
What challenges did you face when trying to get AI to produce the results you wanted?
- When generating the quiz, I noticed several questions defaulted to a 'Multiple Response' format; I had to manually update these to 'Multiple Choice.'
- Additionally, I encountered issues with AI image generation where the model included unwanted text in the visuals, even when explicitly prompted to exclude it
- SusanWhalen0822Peer Guide
It took a moment for me to realize that I had to extract the zipped file for the index file to work. Thanks for sharing, jur !
By just changing the background color on the flashcard interaction, you made the activity more attractive and engaging! I noticed that you created the course so that all interactions had to be opened before moving on; we do that too at my workplace. I agree that the AI Assistant feature of creating a first draft is quite valuable for saving time.
The reflection scenarios were a nice touch for this type of course. Well done!

Hello!
Here is what I was able to accomplish. It was a fascinating challenge! I found it so easy to pour out ideas and get something in return. In some cases, it was not perfect, but it got me 80% of the way there.
I found it particularly challenging to keep the same art style, since there were small variations every time.
Everyone, feel free to take a look and provide feedback if you'd like.

Share 3 changes you made:
- AI Audio for Summaries
- Added AI images to flash cards
- AI block tools - super helpful to shorten, summarize, bold, etc., content to the course.
Which AI feature or capability was most valuable
Instant convert made a very big impact to help switch the interactives. This was most impactful because it took the least time to generate and create.
In addition, AI knowledge check block is amazing. Love how you can generate feedback, etc. Quick and easy to use.
What challenges
Generate AI Image was creative and helpful to connect the content with the image in the style that you want quickly, but sometimes it takes time to get the correct image. Images didn't quite meet expectations.
Hey KaciRoper-dbf54 I'm glad to hear the knowledge check block was helpful! Have you been able to use it in your work?
