Question: What surprised you about how AI handled text or media generation?
One thing that stood out to me was how much these AI features can streamline the content development process in Articulate Rise. Having used Rise for several years, I know how time-consuming it can be to build course content, especially when waiting for subject matter experts or clients to provide materials. The AI tools make it much easier to generate a structured starting point or template that can then be refined and adapted into interactive content.
I was also impressed by how quickly a full lesson structure can be generated from basic course information. The “Instant Convert” feature was particularly useful because it allows content to be quickly transformed into different interaction types. This could be very helpful when working with clients to explore different ways of presenting content for their learners. Additionally, the ability to generate both text and corresponding audio supports accessibility by offering learners multiple ways to engage with the material.
Question: What challenges did you face when trying to get AI to produce the results you wanted?
While the AI-generated images were helpful for maintaining visual consistency, I did notice some limitations. At times, there were grammatical inaccuracies in the generated text and images that did not fully align with the intended context, even after refining the prompts.
I also experienced some challenges with the AI-generated block content feature. In certain cases, the tool had difficulty generating accurate information based on existing page content, which meant I needed to copy and paste the full text for it to reference. While the feature is promising, it still requires careful review and occasional manual adjustments to ensure accuracy.
Overall, the features are promising and I look forward to seeing how they improve!
Hi, I was also impressed by the "Instant Convert" feature. I think it's a great tool to see the overall development of the module as an outline without having to build out each block. Great points made throughout your post!
