Which AI Assistant feature felt most intuitive or useful to you during the practice activities?
I thought the AI block tools were very easy to use and found creating summaries, key takeaways and quiz questions the most helpful in my development.
What surprised you about how AI handled text or media generation?
The image generation was highly effective and swift. I can see the importance of saving prompts and styles to hold consistency throughout the course development.

I too enjoyed the image generating of the tool!

- Which editing tools (rewrite, shorten, change tone, etc.) did you find most valuable, and why? Key takeaways and the summarizing lesson capability is an efficient way to put a bow on a longer training and capture the key objectives for the learner. It is also valuable for me as an instructional designer to see if my training is actually hitting on those key points.
- What challenges did you face when trying to get AI to produce the results you wanted? I found the simpler you keep the image prompt itself the better. If you are using a custom style, the more detail about the style the better. I was able to get the exact aesthetic I wanted by adding tons of description in that field. However, for the actual image prompt, I found the more information you put in there, the more crowded and messy the image became.

Which AI Assistant feature felt most intuitive or useful? Definitely the text to speech. I like the fact that there are so many voices to choose from. Being a former Captivate user, these options are so much better.
What surprised you about how AI handled text or media generation? I really like taking the text and making AI images. Sometimes the results aren't exactly what you were imagining, but it at least gives us an option of creating something inside the course without having to purchase stock images.

Text to speech is such a useful tool. Being able to save the voice is a time saver.

1. The biggest challenge I had was that cookies exercise. It took me a while to figure out the right prompt. I settled with prompting to only refer to cookies in text rather than visually. That did the trick. Although I did find it very strange the amount of weird spelling in the images generated. They almost all had some kind of typo if the text was part of the illustration.
2. As for what surprised me, well, I think I discovered something by accident. Inspired by the animation prompt in the Storyline exercise I decided to make an animation prompt for the summary slide. I asked for a dynamic animation for this slide. It then preceded to make a java script trigger for the slide instead. Not what I asked for, but, maybe better??? I guess 'dynamic' is the magic word. I'd love to know if anyone else did this.

- Which AI Assistant feature felt most intuitive or useful to you during the practice activities? I felt that all of the AI tools were intuitive and easy to use, I'm particularly excited about building a course outline from outside source materials and getting a headstart on course generation this way.
- Which editing tools (rewrite, shorten, change tone, etc.) did you find most valuable, and why? I'm eager to use the editing tools to shorten or make my writing clearer

I am responding to the following questions:
Which AI Assistant feature felt most intuitive or useful to you during the practice activities?
I thought the AI block tools were very intuitive and I enjoyed being able to toggle back and forth between different ways to convey information to make a training more interesting and interactive.
What surprised you about how AI handled text or media generation? The image generation is fascinating! I was surprised at how effectively it took instruction and at how well it generated content in the different styles. This is so much more interesting and less sterile than standard stock photos.

Here are my two questions:
- What surprised you about how AI handled text or media generation?
- It's pretty seamless. Having this combination of AI tools built into Rise is fantastic, and removes added work not only working alone with your own brain, but also going to external AI resources like Gemini
- I find the image generation tool highly effective. I could get lost here, prompting this thing all day
- Which editing tools (rewrite, shorten, change tone, etc.) did you find most valuable, and why?
- Editing tools are super valuable, whether in Articulate 360, or in something simple like our Outlook email accounts
- For someone like me, who gets a little wordy, rewrite and shorten options are very valuable for me
- Curious if there are organization-wide settings our software admins can apply to help hone the AI product produced and unify across groups at our company. We've been wondering about this on my team from a consistent branding and tone standpoint cross-functionally

I selected these 2 questions:
- Which AI Assistant feature felt most intuitive or useful to you during the practice activities?
- I think I agree with most of the people here in that the rewrite and shorten are the ones I use the most. It's nice to help me rewrite things in different ways.
- What surprised you about how AI handled text or media generation?
- The one feature that I really liked and didn't know about was the 'Create AI Image Prompt'. I have always had a hard time creating AI images correctly and with this I can just point it towards a sentence/paragraph and it helps create a really good picture.

2. What surprised you about how AI handled text or media generation?
The tool that I found most surprising while working through the exercises was the image generator. Like the instructor said in the video, not every image is a winner, but I see a marked improvement in the images I got today versus what I was getting last year. I’m sure some of that is because I’m getting better at writing prompts, but I think the image quality is also improving. I especially like that we can create square images that fit the flip cards and some of the grid image blocks without having to edit them further.
3. Which editing tools (rewrite, shorten, change tone, etc.) did you find most valuable, and why?
The editing tool I found most valuable was the instant conversion to another type of block. I tend to use one type of interaction a lot and this feature makes changing to another one really easy.
- Melissa1Community Member
The instant conversion is a really neat feature! Definitely saved time as I worked through my content design.
- GemmaMorrisCommunity Member
I agree about the instant conversion. What a time saver. Being able to see the different iterations before deciding what to use. So useful.
- AmyHGCommunity Member
I also really liked the block converter tool, especially for current courses that could use a little sprucing up!
- MarieFenske-f01Community Member
Agreed! What a time saver this is in Rise compared to Storyline in creating these interactions.

What surprised you about how AI handled text or media generation?
I was pleasantly surprised by how effectively the AI handled the media generation prompts I provided. I was able to generate a very specific visual concept with far fewer iterations than I expected. I had anticipated needing to refine multiple prompts to achieve the final look, especially since I’ve often found that providing more detail to AI tools can sometimes cause confusion and move further away from my original vision. The ability to customize prompts with clear, specific instructions/details made the process much simpler and significantly faster for me. I tended towards looking for stock images in rise previously thinking AI generation would not be that helpful, but I am very excited to continue playing with AI image generation for future projects. I was also very happy to see that my customized prompt was saved for future use, which was a huge plus for maintaining consistency in style and ensuring continuity across ongoing series or projects.
Which editing tools (rewrite, shorten, change tone, etc.) did you find most valuable, and why?
I found the tone change and shorten/lengthen options to be the most valuable editing tools. They’re a great source of inspiration and a significant time saver, especially when I already have a solid foundation for what I want to say and just need to adjust the tone, refine the wording, or experiment with different language styles. I often start with all the key information I want to communicate and then spend a lot of time editing it down to be more concise. This feature made it easy to quickly shorten the content and then review it to ensure nothing important was lost and the message was still delivered clearly. Overall, it was a huge time saver for me, particularly when it comes to fine‑tuning small nuances that would normally take much longer to edit manually.
- GemmaMorrisCommunity Member
I agree about the value of the shorten/lengthen option. Especially when you need to fill a specific space with useful information without it looking too cluttered or too bare.
