What surprised you about how AI handled text or media generation? The clarity of the images within the AI tool really surprised me. Many AI images tend to have flaws (ex. missing fingers on hand). Generated images in this tool really depicted realistic images.
Which editing tools (rewrite, shorten, change tone, etc.) did you find most valuable, and why? I enjoyed the shorten tool. I am typically wordy in my content. This tool helped write more concise verbiage.

1. Which AI Assistant feature felt most intuitive or useful to you during the practice activities?

- I would say Instant Convert. SO helpful and a huge time saver in RISE to go between styles and looks until you find the right one for the content you have.
3. Which editing tools (rewrite, shorten, change tone, etc.) did you find most valuable, and why?

- Change tone! Sometimes the content is strong, but because of the tone it's difficult to read. I really loved this tool!

Hi Lindsay! I really like the Instant Convert, too, and completely agree with you about how much time it saves and how easy it is to "try out" different block formats for your content.

I agree! The ease with which we can change the tone of the content or convert the content into a different block is extremely helpful and time saving.

What surprised me the most was the media generation. How if you just enter a description of the type of image you want it can give you exactly what you are looking for. Whether that be cartoon figures or real life people. Gone are the days when we have to search on Google for images, which is a real time saver!
2. Which editing tools (rewrite, shorten, change tone, etc.) did you find most valuable, and why?
I think that all of the editing tools are valuable. The rewrite and shorten tools I think would be most valuable to me. Working in healthcare when verbiage can become lengthy or difficult to understand, especially for someone new to healthcare.

- What surprised you about how AI handled text or media generation? I was really surprised by the quality and the amount of voices available in AI.
- Which editing tools (rewrite, shorten, change tone, etc.) did you find most valuable, and why? - The editing tool that I think I will use the most is the summarizing tool or the knowledge check/question creation. I can see myself utilizing those a lot. Mostly because I hate coming up with wrong answers for questions. :)

The “Create an AI image prompt” was probably the most useful AI Assistant feature I used in the practice activities. Even when I didn’t use the exact prompt AI provided, it was a good jumping-off point and easy to edit, when needed.
What surprised me about how AI handled media generation was the improvement in the image creation. I’ve been using Articulate’s AI image creation option on-and-off since it was first introduced, and the quality seems to have improved since the last time I used it. When first using the AI image creation functionality, the results would sometimes include people with legs/arms that bent in unnatural ways, or who had three hands or two heads (or no head, on one occasion!) When generating images that included people for these practice activities, everyone had the expected number of heads and limbs. :)

You're right to say that the image generation has been steadily improving!!

These are my two questions:
- Which editing tools (rewrite, shorten, change tone, etc.) did you find most valuable, and why?
The change tone because sometimes it is difficult to convey technical information in a clear concise way. This helps me write the content in a way that is easily understandable to our new employees
- What challenges did you face when trying to get AI to produce the results you wanted? The copy paste back and forth on the image creation lesson. Its a lot of clicks, and you have to remember where you were in the lesson. I found it easier to ask copilot for the prompts and inset them . ( using two AI's)

Good callout on the change of tone. I'll have to play with this in our courses which are typically shooting for a warm, friendly, yet professional tone.

Practice was great, loved that the video was right there to follow along with. I will definitely be using some of these tricks! Thank you.😀

The text-to-speech is a great option, and I am impressed with how real the voices sound now. I am hoping as AI gains popularity that it there will be more added.
The most challenging thing I experienced was I could not just tell it to revise something I asked for. I had to start a new prompt. For instance, on the slide we created a summary for, I initially had it make a list, but then wanted to change it to a paragraph instead, but it would not do it unless I closed that prompt and started over.

- What surprised you about how AI handled text or media generation?
- I really had to play with my prompt to get what I was looking for. Some of the images were pretty goofy which additional limbs, duplicate people, etc. I know this is just a challenge of AI in general. I would love to have a way to save the images generated in case I want to go back to them in Rise without having to download.
- Which editing tools (rewrite, shorten, change tone, etc.) did you find most valuable, and why?
- I found shorten most helpful especially when trying to fit text in a specific design format. I also love the summary tool and create key takeaways. Such a huge times aver.

- Which AI Assistant feature felt most intuitive or useful to you during the practice activities? I think most of the AI tools were pretty intuitive. If I had not seen the video on how to use these features I don't think I would have realized how much these tools can impact the course text and how these tools differ.
- What surprised you about how AI handled text or media generation? I was impressed with the text generation. I found a lot of the text matched the tone, length, and audience I was writing for. Some of the writing was too formal and some of the descriptions were quite long. I always find I have to trim some of the content and replace some terms with more neutral language. I didn't find analogies particularly clever or accurate.
- Which editing tools (rewrite, shorten, change tone, etc.) did you find most valuable, and why? I really like the
I really like the improve writing, suggest improvements and make shorten editing tools. - What challenges did you face when trying to get AI to produce the results you wanted? The image generation was okay I think Adobe Express does a better job of creating simple images. I also like that I can create similar images with Adobe Express.
