Which AI Assistant feature felt most intuitive or useful to you during the practice activities?
The most intuitive and useful feature for me was AI text‑to‑speech. It’s incredibly fast and removes common production challenges like background noise or inconsistent audio quality. Plus, when an SME requests a last‑minute wording change, updates take only seconds—no re‑recording required.
What surprised you about how AI handled text or media generation?
I’ve been genuinely impressed by the quality of the AI voices. The voices have improved so much and actually sound human! Love that!
Which editing tools (rewrite, shorten, change tone, etc.) did you find most valuable, and why?
Honestly, all of them! Being able to improve my writing with a single click is amazing. It makes everything faster, better, and so much more efficient.

The AI voices keeps surprising me. I've even used it in other languages and they are just as natural sounding they are now.

From a SME perspective, the AI voices mean I don't have to feel guilty requesting an update where there is one sentence that needs to be changed in a module that has VO from folks no longer in our organization.

- Which AI Assistant feature felt most intuitive or useful to you during the practice activities?
- Editing text, creating images, audio, and converting blocks were the most intuitive to use for me, I'd never used Articulate so when it came to a few other steps I needed to watch the video to fully understand what to do.
- What surprised you about how AI handled text or media generation?
- The media generation has several options for the type, feel, and look of the media, and also gives multiple options! I'm used to creating images with AI in Copilot, but have challenges prompting it to get what I want sometimes. By having these options the tool helps ensure we have the right information in the prompt to get the type of results we want.
- Which editing tools (rewrite, shorten, change tone, etc.) did you find most valuable, and why?
- I found the change tone the most valuable. I have a writing style that feels most comfortable to me, and changing tone is sometimes a challenge. This feature, like the image creating tool, has the prompt structure to guide me to the results I want.
- What challenges did you face when trying to get AI to produce the results you wanted?
- Most of the challenges I faced were just getting used to Articulate. When it came to editing the flash cards I really tried to figure it out before watching the video but just couldn't. It wasn't a gap in the AI tool, it was a fundamentals gap in how to use Articulate.

3. I love that I was able to take some of the brand directions on tone, voice, and language and make quick and fully aligned changes. I didn't find a way to mass-apply them, so that would be a great feature add on. Maybe as part of brand templates?
4. I really struggled with graphic generation. Images did ok, but my org likes photos so that's trickier. The more specific I went with my requests (age, race, ability diversity), the less I liked the options.

I love that idea to mass apply tone/voice etc. I haven't tried that yet when starting a course from scratch, but I bet if you included those things in a from scratch prompt, it would build things out with those in mind. But for already existing courses needing revamping, a mass apply would save even more time!

I love the idea to mass apply for course revamping too.

1. Which AI Assistant feature felt most intuitive or useful to you during the practice activities?
The most useful one for me was the Create a Sorting Activity feature. While I already use the speech to text often, I like including the sorting activity block to break up information. I like that the feature would help build this out for me more efficiently.
3. Which editing tools(rewrite, shorten, change tone, etc.) did you find most valuable, and why?
I think the shorten editing tool to be the most valuable for me. Many times, due to compliance and trying to make sure every pertinent information is included, I find that I can get a bit wordy. I like that I can use this feature when developing to make things more succinct.
4. What challenges did you face when trying to get AI to produce the results you wanted?
My biggest issue is I’ll start something and while it’s processing, I think of new things I think I want and then my original request has the impossible task of meeting unspoken expectations. So, I end up having to iterate my request more, alternatively I think I will take a minute to plan out better before generating a request.

Being able to instantly convert interactives to different formats.
- What challenges did you face when trying to get AI to produce the results you wanted?
Similarly to what others have expressed, getting images that look "real" or that do not have typos can be a challenge.

Instant convert is amazing! I love that it keeps your previous version as well in case you decide to go back to the original presentation style.
1. Which editing tools (rewrite, shorten, change tone, etc.) did you find most valuable, and why?
For me, is the ability to upload a PowerPoint file and generate a training from it. This saves me a lot of time because I don’t need to manually copy and paste content, and the AI usually provides a very good starting point for building the training. It helps me work much faster and stay focused on improving the content instead of creating everything from scratch.
However, I still notice some AI hallucinations, so I always need to make several adjustments before the training is ready.
2. What challenges did you face when trying to get AI to produce the results you wanted?
One of the biggest challenges for me is generating images. I may need to improve my prompts, but I often struggle to get images with the same identity and visual style. I would like all images to have a consistent look and feel, but I usually need to rewrite the prompt several times to get close to what I want. Sometimes the process becomes time-consuming, and I end up giving up before reaching the result I expected.- simonstreet_ukCommunity Member
Which AI Assistant feature felt most intuitive
Maybe not a true AI feature as taught this week; generating Closed Captions from audio / video content is super valuable and time saving. It’s a function our team use a lot in course design.
What challenges
Searching through the AI voice selection. It would be great to have a filter by region / nationality, so you can fine tune your selection.

Which editing tools (rewrite, shorten, change tone, etc.) did you find most valuable, and why?
I found the prompt creation tool very useful. Sometimes it's about getting into the description mindset and this tool makes that process so much faster. Once you have that initial prompt, then re crafting it is a breeze.
What challenges did you face when trying to get AI to produce the results you wanted?
I found that I had to be very detailed when it comes to any text, specifically telling the AI tools to pay special attention to correct English spelling of any words used.

Prompt writing is truly a skill and I need to get better at it.

Which AI Assistant feature felt most intuitive or useful to you during the practice activities?
I feel the conversion blocks and the generate images were the most intuitive and useful during the practice. I'm excited to learn more about the audio options and how to use Storyline in general along with allowing AI to assist me in making my classes/presentations more accessible, interactive and engaging.
What surprised you about how AI handled text or media generation?
I know it's still learning but I was surprised to learn that it didn't handle negative directions well yet. That makes it harder to exclude certain items without wording it just right.
